I know it's from the Sun, but this is not how I like to see our players behave after a loss in the League ...
The video is embarrassing ...

They're only human beings but after Bob's recent comments, they are flaunting it. The older players could be on very very thin ice with Bob here. Players like AJ & Joe Hart are young & are likely to get a bit more leeway because of their potential but if you see the old pros joining in, the temptation is to look at signing players who set a better example.

I don't get the timeline of this. They apparently spent two straight days on the golf course, but when will they have had two consecutive days off training? They can't have gone up there after the Arsenal game as it would've been dark.
If this happened when they were on a short break after international commitments (which I suspect is the case given the five players there), then I don't care as much. Incredibly naive though - some sort of brain cell should kick in at the sight of the camera. Unfortunately, it would seem that the only one of them with a modicum of sense was tucked up in bed.
Shay didn't make a tit of himself in that film, though. I think the report is a bit harsh on him too.

Yeah good point. I've actually just read it again and it says they played Monday and Tuesday with the party on Monday night. My bad.

Yeah I reckon Johnson (who was slaughtered and has previous) and Hart (who was pissed, acting like a bit of a cock and has previous) are dead certs for a bollocking. Barry just looked a bit dense as ever but might get blasted for being a 29 year-old at a student party with two young players. Shay and Milner look to have kept their noses clean, so maybe Shay will start on Saturday.

Apparently none of them liked Mancini's alternative of getting their dicks wet instead of drinking.
Im not as arsed by this as some are. Its unflattering tho for sure.
barrys speech was classy tho. Right out of a 1980s teen party movie where teens try and get laid, sneak a peek of bush in the girls showers at school, think their parents are dicks, etc. Smooth.
To be honest tho if we'd beaten Arsenal at the weekend none of us would give two fucks about this video. I know i wouldn't.
Cheers

They are athletes and professional footballers.
For 100K a week would you stay sober?
They have all the time in the world to make twats of themselves when they are 35+

I may be thick but I really don't see what the problem is with partying ONE night every now and then when you have almost the whole week before the next game. Especially for the younger players, it's going to be hard to resist the temptation of behaving like people their age do when they go out.
This would have been different had it been, say, the night ebfore the Arsenal game, or two nights before the game. Then it would be really unprofessional.
Both ways, Mancini had warned them so I guess the four of them will get some words from the manager today.

I like it, getting in on the Uni scene possibly grooming new customers. Well done the club - great PR!

I blame modern technology players cant even have a good booze up without some spotty student capturing it on camera.
On a serious note its very disappointing that players have not taken Mancinis message on board as hes made it perfectly clear hes not going to toloerate a party lifestyle at the club.
Looks like Johnson wont start for a while now.Hes really pushing his luck, as good as he is he would not be the first footballer to piss his career away.
Anyway if Mancini gets wind of this whos going to play in goal come saturday, Taylor?
