MANCHESTER CITY players want Roberto Mancini booted out... NOW.

Many of City's multi-millionaire under- achievers believe they will never challenge for the Premier League title with the Italian in charge.
And SunSport has been told some are guessing among themselves when Mancini - whose side are fourth in the Premier League, eight points adrift of leaders Chelsea - could be sacked.
City suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at Wolves on Saturday during which Emmanuel Adebayor had an on-pitch row with Vincent Kompany.
A City source said: "There is hardly a player in the dressing room who has any time for Mancini. The place is a complete mess.
"There are times when he tries to be a hard man but no one takes any notice.
"Team spirit is falling apart because there is no respect for the manager and some players are even guessing when he could go.
"They don't know who they want in, they just want Mancini out."
Another source confirmed: "The players don't like his confrontational style.
"They're also baffled by him tactcially - for example, they couldn't understand why he brought on defender Pablo Zabaletta for Emmanuel Adebayor instead of striker Jo at Wolves on Saturday."
Yaya Toure and James Milner had a bust-up in the tunnel during last Sunday's 3-0 defeat by Arsenal.
Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk says his client is angry at what he believes is a lack of winning mentality at City.
Seluk said: "Yaya thinks there are some players, perhaps mostly those who have been there for a long time, who think that fourth place is already a big position that it is good enough to 'not lose' rather than to always win."

Are The Sun still banned from the club? Their source is a Peterborough fan who lives in Devon.

And YaYa is the main culprit, not put in a shift since he came and has the nerve to complain about others, must be angling for a pay rise

Written by Neil Custis who has very good sources within City so there could be something in this. Paddy Power offering 20-1 for Mancini to be the next man to get the bullet. Well having a tenner on that.

Neil Custis also reported that the Sheikh gave Gold Watches to all the players, did he not?

The amount of lies and fabrications this man has written about City is quite staggering actually... I doubt he has any sources at all within City.

Two games ago we were the real deal and chelseas closest rivals for the title... the press are as fickle as us fans are.

Football is being ruined, I almost prefered it when we knew we were shit.

Fingers crossed.
If You do succed, You might have Stevie - the world beater - back and his Pink Missus in charge of the City bench, maybe.

All in all, as already said many many times, by thousands of sources, if the Most representative Club of one of the most important town in Europe won fuck all for more then three decades there should be a more technical reason than bad luck....
A cancerous environment, perhaps? Two defeats - one orchestrated by the one of the most anti-City referee of the league - and riots are flowing all rounds... :-)

Just a tought, no harm intended, little Fishy...:-)

I do not for one second believe that the fat faced toad has nay creditable source within Man City (if you want to call the catering staff a source) and just see this as a story gleened from what has happened on the pitch recently. Any bad journalist could've wrote that.

I do like the 'Confrontational Style' though, Mancini confrontational? Also, haven't they been reporting he is quite the opposite?

The only way to deal with this is to do what the Sh!t do...If this information is indeed true

1...Ban all press from the ground

2...Don't give pre-match press conferences, give any information via the site using in house journo's such as Chris Bailey via the video section. thios way any information cannot be twisted and supporters can see for themselves any message the club is trying to get across

3...Get players to sign NDA's...if they release any info to the press...they receive heavy financial sanctions from the club.

Just going off what McCarthy from the Mirror was saying this morning on SSN. He was giving credence to it and stated that Custis knows a lot of people within City. I personally haven't a clue which reporters from which papers have access to which players at which clubs. I doubt anyone does apart from people within the industry themselves

Sacking Bobby Manc in no way would be deemed as success in my eyes, i want the manager to stay more than i want some of the current squad to stay. Sacking the manager would just increase the players egos further still and cause them to think that they run the club. The tail should never wag the dog.

But... if he is sacked then i'm two hundred quid up on the deal and will make for a very good weekend.

Meh. We battle with 10 men against Arsenal and we have buckets of team spirit and we lose against Wolves and we have no team spirit and...ah well we are still the biggest story in town I see. O'Neill was rolling around the floor having fisticuffs with one of his players, Pulis as well. Harry bans his players from drinking and hangs Keane out to dry (literally I suspect) and Houllier at Villa introduces double training sessions and slags Ireland off in a brutally honest assessment of the lad for the whole world to see - yet for us we have Mancini telling the players that drinking to excess is bad for a professional athlete (although he has no problem with moderation) and that they have to work hard and its all too much for them to take and want him sacked.

All very odd when you think about it.

I have a feeling that the back page of the Sun was initially reserved for Liverpool this morning if they had lost/drawn against Bolton. Gerrard and Torres looked like they wanted to be anywhere but in a Liverpool Shirt. If they had of lost it would have being the Liverpool Crisis and Hodgson Out on the back pages.

Red Tops need a crisis team in sport every week. This week its us; they'll be lies, spinned logic, half truths, and full truths in the reports.

It's starting to feel like November 2009 all over again.

Getting rid of Mancini would surely be a mistake but this kind of story is very worrying whether it's totally true or not.I have said from the start the most important challenge for Mancini was to get hold of the changing room and have the players working with him and for him. The talent we have is undeniable and a half decent coach would be able to get results with them but to blend them into a real trophy winning side needs a lot more.

If there is a problem in the camp what is the reason for it? Mancini has already got rid of so called problem players ( Ireland,Nedum,Bellers,Robinho,Petrov) so what else could it be? Surely not anything to do with money? Is it to do with team selection or maybe playing tactics? I expect Mancini will be talking seige mentality this morning and reminding all the players how important sheer effort is in winning games. I don't expect to see anything different in training this week but I do expect a different team to go out against WBA next weekend.

I know exactly what the problem is & why there are so many media stories of players disliking each other & all hating the manager; we play Manchester United in 10 days. If we beat them, it sends out a big statement & could be the 1st step towards a change of power. You do the math(s).

Mancini and especially Kidd will know how to turn all this in our favour - siege mentality and all that

But we need points on Sun first - the derby will take care of itself

Yes...and which other papers have recently written stories which were complete bollocks? Its not just limited to the Sun.

In addition, elements of the broadcast media need to have their wings clipped....such as Collymore and Talksport for some of their opinions, especially post the NDJ/Ben Arfa incident.
