Jesus, yes he made a mistake but he's only 19. Let's not ruin whatever little confidence he has left anyway.

The Arsenal game and tonight have been big learning curves for him, but considering the number of games he has played at the top level, his performances up to then were as promising as I have seen from one of our youngsters in many years.

As long as he learns from these mistakes (i.e. not going to ground so easily, heading the ball high and clear) then there is no reason he can't make it.

A bit of patience with the lad please.

What kind of stuff are kids today made of?
He needs to grow some backbone.

Between Stephen Ireland running whingeing to the papers every time a manager doesn't show him the 'respect' he 'deserves', and now Boyata playing for most of the game like a shrinking violet, and then that pathetic attempt at a headed 'clearance'

I know mate and it's very frustrating.
But IMO, we have seen enough of his good stuff to put up with tha bad. He's only a sprog and he'll gain from this stuff eventually.

I'm on pins watching him, his recent touch is awful! I'm all for giving him a chance but each game we lose makes it harder! We REALLY need to start winning games if we want to prove ourselves, at te moment bar the bin dippers we are the laughing stock of the league!

£120m plus spent in the summer and we are losing in Poland and to wolves while Spurs are flying in the chump league with the same squad basically as last season. I don't think we deserve to call ourselves a "team" at the moment.

Yeah but mine is over the stupidity of this thread. The match not so much. Main emotion there is one of frustration.

Give the kid a break. He was doing ok. Unlucky.
I bet most of us mancityfans.netters are bald, fat and out of shape. We don't earn a lot but still..
What a fucking depressive night this turned out to be.... won't even dare to think of Sunday night );

It's only as stupid as a lot of others, am I not allowed to vent some anger towards the incident that lost us the game AGAIN!

Lets hope so
Because it was clear from the start that he hadn't gotten over that red card

It's unfair to throw shit at him at this point. Frown into games against Arsenal and Poznan is no easy feat, so give the lad the benefit eh, it's not all down to him!

There are some really fickle fucker who support our club. It was only ten months ago many were heaping praise on him for two good performances against the shit in the CCSF. The same again at the end of September after the Chelsea game.

Maybe if Hart had been selected we may have seen him come off his line and have a go at punching the ball. How many times have we seen Given with leaden feet, rooted to his line.

Get rid of that Irish twat before Boyata

He did well for a kid v the scum but he shouldn't have been playing, his mistakes probably cost us & he shouldn't be playing now & his mistakes are costing us each game (he also fucked up v WBA in the league cup & should have cost us the Chelsea game with 2 pens).

He's a great prospect but him & Bob are fucking our season up at the moment.
