season 2002/2003

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

season 2002/2003

they just showed the best premier league goals of the 2002/2003 season on ESPN Classic. We scored some great goals that season!
It was great to see the real SWP again, Foe scoring a beauty, and Jensen with that cracking volley.

Is it wrong, misplaced nostalgia or just sadistic to admit I got more enjoyment out of watching City back then?

it might sound silly, but the anticipation puts a mute on things. Not getting three points now that we have a great squad hurts a lot more then it used to. Now I want those three points week in week out, or my whole weekend is ruined.

Mate - it ruined my whole week then and it still does now. But in the past it was EVERY fuckin week!

i think it was a bit easier to take then as most of the squad was sub standard which makes now more frustrating when we lose as we have a squad of world class talent...

Exactly, I genuinely don't like the feeling of going into every game with the expectation of winning. Its quite nerve wrecking
