Now for United, says Kolo

Kolo Toure says a weight has been lifted following the 2-0 win over West Brom which put the Blues level on points with third-placed Arsenal.
After an intense fortnight spent in the media spotlight, Toure says the players can now focus on the Manchester derby having dispatched the Baggies in such a comprehensive manner.
“It was really important we beat West Brom because it’s very difficult for a team with aspirations of challenging at the top to lose three games in a row,” he said.
“This win has made us very happy and put us in the perfect frame of mind ahead of Wednesday’s derby.
“We deserved to win because we started the game really well and were passing the ball round nicely. We controlled most of the match and scored goals at important times.”
Toure says he is also happy for Mario Balotelli, who showed glimpses of genius during the Hawthorns triumph.
“I’m pleased for Mario that he has scored two goals today, but obviously the sending off made things harder for us, but we were strong and after we dealt with their spell of pressure, the game was as good as over.
"Mario is a top striker and he is still
very young. He will learn about the
Premier League quickly and I think he
is a player who can be really important
for us"
“He needs to learn that the tackles are hard and the referees more lenient, but he will get used to it and love it as much as we all do. What happened to him could happen to any player and as I say, he will learn from it.
“It’s been a good weekend for us with so many teams around us dropping points but the season is really long and now we have to focus on our next game.
“The derby is a massive game for us and it will be really hard because they are a very strong team, but we will go out to win the match and enjoy it.”

It's good to know that the players keep an eye on the fixture list.

Fixture list? Sounds like a great idea for the site, if it doesnt involve too much coding.

Actually being serious for a moment, is there any way to get the fixtures list to 'open in a new tab' when you right click on it? (I'm using Firefox but I believe the new internet explorer browsers use something similar as well). This is assuming it doesnt involve too many man-hours obviously.

Using Firefox 3.6 I don't get that option though, sadly.

Well, you see, if pressing the fixtures list means losing out on this witty repartee I'm all the poorer - that's my predicament.

Doesn't it work holding Ctrl pressed down on your keyboard while clicking on the Fixture list link?

Dont know anything about FF but surely you can just open as many windows as you want? I use IE and Google Chrome and not only can I open as many as I want, but log in too (strangely). Just open the fixture thing then log in again on a new window. Or failing that dont log in to get the fixtures up.
Failing that just print the bloody things out and stick them on the wall!

Doesn't work with IE8 either. You get a Flash Player menu.

Scrap that. This doesn't work on Google Chrome. Neither does right clicking and selecting "Open tab in new Window".

right click on the actual tab that mcf.net is open in ... hit 'duplicate' ... then go to fixtures in the new tab.
this is for chrome. I believe FF has a similar capability

i didnt realise we had a fixtures list for fixing problems. As it happens i also cant open it with a right click. But i was wondering as i have a 3 button mouse and a cut on my middle finger it is a bit painful to right click with it.. could you please make it so the left mouse button does the right click thing?
Cheers and all that.
Oh you can change it back in a couple of weeks when my finger has healed.
Cheers again.

save the fixtures as a jpg to your desktop, then you can view them whenever you like without being online.
