rubbish tonight, didn't even touch the ball.

Bringing him on, just proved we were trying to kill the game, not trying to win it

Did fuck all when he came on.....

To be honest, after Mancini's comments about players being tired and yet still being unwilling to start Ade and Johnno I'm worried about the future of both.

He also claimed that we missed Balotelli as he could have played up front or from the left. Again, doesn't speak volumes for his confidence in either of the above players.

After scoring 4 goals in 3 games, I wouldn't blame Ade for being extremely fucked off with the game time he has seen against West Brom and tonight.

On Mancini's comments, I was disappointed. He said that due to the win, we were equal with United - I'd say we're better.

I thought it was in insult to bring him on in the 92nd minute.Especially after the goals hes been scoring of late.
I still think Ade is an important member of the squad and will knock in plenty for us.

I think Ade would improve his standing with Mancini if we actually er won matches when he plays. Scoring goals is great. Scoring goals and winning the match is just so much better. I like Ade and want him to do the business but we ain't a charity nor are we here to make Ade look good. And if he needs to take some shit for the team then take the shit or fuck off if you don't like it.

Ade is an attacker.
He clearly has no part in Mancini's plans.
There is a danger he might score a goal.

Winding down the clock AT HOME with the score at 0_0 by bringing Ade on in the 92 minite was disgusting and I just cannot get it out of my head............

Blaming Ballotellis absence is even worse.........The excuses are lame..really fucking lame.

Roger,
Read what I posted in the tactics thread mate and see if that makes any sense of Mancini's present approach compared to what I think he will do in the future.

Mancini has shown his hand with regard to attackers. I think he's made it more than obvious that he is actively looking to find a partner for Tevez. We have targetted Torres, Dzeko and, even though I hope he never darkens our door, Rooney. Mario is a kid whi I think Mancini sees as a gamble for the future. Should he bring in such a partner for Tevez, can you honestly think he woud remain so defensive. He would simply have to go with the 2 up front.

With regard to Ade, I think that wpuld undobtedly put him out of the picture...Reckon he will be on his way.

John, you know I love you dearly and along with one or two others I respect your opinion utterly.
But I said it was a gut feeling, but it is getting backed up by Mancini's actions all the time. He is the wrong man.
Tonight was pathetic. Truly pathetic and embarrassing.
Bobby play a fucking attack and then we might score!

Ade will score goals. However he may have more luck with Mancini if when he scores the goals we actually er win the match. Scorings goal is great. Scoring goals and winning the match is so much better. Ade needs to do more than just score goals and the fact that he doesn't is why he doesn't get picked.

I actually agree with you Roger and also agree with ted too that what is happening now is not good. I personally found tonight very frustrating, as I have other games too.
Like yo it is a gut feeling, though I am trying to look at mancini's striking targets. It is obvious that he doesn't trust Ade, RSC or Jo with the job and that he is actively looking for a striker topartner Tevez...We know that and it is inconcievable that he woud not play them if he got them.

We are still very much a developing side and I think he feels he is doing his cautious best with what he has, in the belief (his) that when he has the striker he wants, he can expand his tactics.

Oh...and I love you too Mate....:-)...........erm..........same hotel as last time...:-)

curiously tho, if i wanted to play two up top why wouldn't you TRY to play Ade or RSC together with Tevez? if that's his preferred system or approach then why wouldn't he give it a whirl for a few matches? Honestly, neither Ade nor RSC are complete dogshit players no matter what anyone tells us.

cheers

That 92nd minute sub was a slap in Ade's face by Mancini. No wonder we hear stories about unrest.
It also felt like a slap in the face of every blue supporter in the stands or in front of the telly/computer. I'm quite certain ALL of us had been screaming for a little bit of risk taking and attacking force. What does Bobby do? He brings on a full back for a fullback with 13 minutes left and waits to bring on a striker until the game is practically over.

Nail on the head. He sees our strikeforce as Tevez, Balotelli and some other superstar.

He doesn't see Adebayor, Jo and RSC as part of his plans DOES ANYONE DISAGREE WITH THAT, I dont? It'll be Torres or Dzeko etc.

As for last night I dont think Ade is fit anyway, and the sub was probably a tactic to waste time and avoid the last minute goal! Can people not see that United want teams to throw the kitchen sink at them toward the end because that is when they are most dangerous and effctive?

I really don't see why people are having a go at him when he had about 90 seconds at best to win a game ???

Dont understand all this talk of a new striker to partner Tevez, isnt that why we have Balotelli?

Bobby clearly likes the 4 3 3 formation with Bal Tev and Silva... where would another striker fit in?
