Ok so our off-the-field motives are questioned, now our on-the-pitch tactics by an opponent??
STFU you big nosed prick... (sorry if this was posted did not see it anywhere)...
While I am not happy with negative football (I am happy with a point vs nothing), I really did not see the Rags really put much of an attacking effort forward. Their best real chance came from a defender in the first half.... sorry EVS was bored. He should be happy after that howler he made a couple weeks back vs WBA.

'They were clearly aiming for a point. We really wanted to win but they were more defensive. I did not have much to do but apart from save one freekick and if the game had lasted longer we might have got more than a point out of it.'

They were a disgrace as well but they were away from home. I would be happy with our performance & the result if it was at OT. All the press we've got from that performance, all around the world, is negative.

Talksport were discussing the merits of being awarded 0 points for a draw to encourage teams to attack following our game.
Apparently we are the first team to ever play out a boring 0-0.

Only 30s additional additional time, no wonder he's pissed.

I wonder if they'll attack us and leave themselves open at the back at The Swamp............
I doubt it somehow.

They played four minutes (and the ref played it to the second almost)

Plus 30 secs for the Ade switch.
He's just a whiner who knows that his last season will yield nothing more than the CC if he's lucky.
That's a wasted season for them.

I have no doubt whatsoever that they will attack us at Old Trafford and go for the 3 points WHILST keeping their shape at the back.
Being able to attack and defend is capable in football. I've seen it with my own eyes on more than one occassion.

More than Hart! The most Joe had to do all night was stop the ball going out for a corner

Well that and the three hard shots that happened to be hit right at him!!! Let's give him credit for good positioning... that was a brilliant save on the corner ball.

I didn't see them streaming forward at all possible opportunities they were just as defensive and negative as us. It not like we were holding on and hart saved 20 shots.

You'll never make a journalist mate. Dont you know that the 83-times world champions were brilliant, despite City's unsportsmanlike defence refusing to leak? And that despite their failure to create any chance my old mum wouldn't have saved they come out of the game covered in glory whereas City are, of course, diabolical and, by failing to score, ruining football yet again.
(Although to be fair I did read one journo this morning who said Scum were 50% to blame.)

Problem is mate I don't give a shit about them bar 2 games a year.
The team responsible for the other 50% are the ones I'm annoyed with.
