Some of his long-range passing was incredible, he covers the ground very well and looks strong and assured on the ball.

Very impressive.

Agreed. The one bright spot of a dark afternoon.

Spot on, he played well. Can't wait until he gets his shooting boots on!

Excellent pass/cross from wide left inparticular (I think it was to Tevez?) - decent freekick on target too (was surprised Tevez let him take one)

I agree and said in another post that Boateng should have been subbed and not Kolorov.

HE was good in general and a few top passes.

He was only expected to last 60 or 70 mins so subbing him was on the cards anyway, no point overdoing it and fucling him up again.

Kept getting mixed up with him and Johnson, from a distance they both look so alike, but he did well, his corners are abit dodgey but hese an improvement on bridge, fair play too him, hope he can get better!!

Kolarov is class; we took him from under Mourinho's nose. He should be taking all the free kicks, particularly from the right hand side. His inswingers with the left peg are absolutely wicked. He was out of puff after being out for so long so I absolutely understood his substitution. And let's face it Carlos had a poor game; I think it was one too many in a short period. I heard Platt say that they hoped Barry would deliver some quality ball into the box. I have to agree that simply lumping on another striker ie Jo wasn't going to get the job done.

Was Adebayor injured or is there more to it than that? I personally think he doesn't work hard, is useless at holding up the ball and is far from clinical in front of goal. He does score of course but he misses quite a few as well. We badly need a striker in January

Was impressed by Kolarov today, however, he didn't have to do any defending, so I'm reserving complete judgement, in case he's another Glen Johnson.

He was the single positive for me today. Playing well coming back from injury despite the fact the rest of the team either have become shit overnight or have been coached into the ground.

Let's hope he rubs off on them and not vice versa.
