The Abu Dhabi F1 Circuit (City related)

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The Abu Dhabi F1 Circuit (City related)

Postby King Kev » Sun Nov 14, 2010 1:12 pm

Just watching the Grand Prix and it occurred to me that the entire circuit is trimmed in sky blue, which is unique in Formula 1 as far as I am aware.

I just wondered, with our connections with the country, if this is anything to do with City or just to make it look pretty?

I think that could be because the male brain only recongises the primary colours whereas women can identify 68948

I dont even recognise primary colours, all I see is a race track with cars. I dont notice anything other than the race? I am terrible.

Aussie TV spotted Patrick Vieira on pit lane pre-race, so there's a city connection. The life of a pro footballer eh.

Our Owner was the major player in getting the track built.

Would not suprise me.

The best circuit in Formula 1 as per the president Bernie Ecclestone.

Second Best is not an option , a certain gentleman in Spain will still be aware.

It might be the most modern, or have the best facilities but as a race track its a very poor circuit in terms of entertainment. Very limitied chanced to over take. The fact that Webber and Alonso got stuck behind Petrov for so long is a perfect example of it's limitations.

Thats majority of the tracks ross. Thats why they change the rules so much, its cheaper than atering the circuits. I like F1 but its boring most of the time.
