Tevez's Yellow Card

I have just watched the highlights from yesterday and can't help feel that we should appeal against his booking.
All he did was wag his finger at the linesman so he can't have been booked for that. He must have been booked for the handball.
Seeing as the replays clearly show that he didn't handle it (and that the goal should have stood) I can't see why the booking should stand.

I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that you can't appeal yellow cards

Can't appeal yellow cards.
Card was given for a handball.
Looked like he used the upper part of his arm to me and was a fair decision.

The fact that you can't appeal a booking even when it is so obviously issued incorrectly is ridiculous! That booking could lead to a ban later in the season, why are referees so beyond reproach!?

The fact that you can't appeal a booking if it is DEFINITELY incorrect, i.e. mistaken identity, is absolutely wrong. In this case though it's not a definite mistake, it was the top of the arm. I just tried to think if that had happened at the other end, would I have been happy if Birmingham had been allowed that goal and NO I wouldn't. Tough call but hard to argue against

Mistaken identity is the only grounds for appealing a booking, aside from that its tough shit

It reminded me of goater's at home against Wigan in the play off semi final. Have watched it a few times now and I still can't decide whether it was arm or shoulder.

Behave ,it was a perfectly good goal, even Trevor Francis agreed, so it must be a goal.

If I remember correctly that one went in off his knob.

The only parts of Goat's body that he never scored with were his feet and head.
God how I love him and miss him (not in a gay way of course, but I would have his babies if at all possible).

I didn't agree with Francis at the time, looked like upper arm to me. But being booked was a bit harsh. Handball, end of story.
