Just ordered one mate. 2XL - oh for the days of extreme fitness!

I'm probably the only one who doesn't know this but - I assume the Templar cross was St Marks Gorton badge? Monastery and all that?

That's quite nice that. It's a football shirt without looking like a football shirt.

The Iron Cross was worn well before and after the Nazis so I have no problem with wearing it. I've just ordered an XL - obviously I would normally wear a small but just to be on the safe side.......

I know mate,..and something to be proud of,...it's more the design/colouring that gives it that feel though, had it been sky-blue with a white or maroon cross the whole http://aryanwear.com/1488-iron-cross-skinhead-tshirt-pi-71.html?invis=0&osCsid=285b079d419ea7b3a0aed8324f6ef7b3 look would be gone....i would'nt wear this just because of the connection people would make,...i normally don't give a shit what anybody i don't know/care about thinks of me, but i would never want to been seen as that kind of scum.

I've tried to buy one three times, but Worldpay keeps making a processing error.

Nice shirt though, I'll try again in a few days.

Just to keep an idea of what we have done, if you order one, can you please add to the poll

Thanks all

And its a Maltese cross, it's like people making the George cross a racist symbol,

Another thing, you can usually tell the iron cross because it's round some bastards neck who is invading Poland....

Thank fucl we didn't print these last month!

Yep - obviously it was some sort of old (rather than German 20th century) cross, the Maltese cross obviously deriving from the Knights of the Hospital (as they ruled the place for 300 years), rather than the Templars - although they were much the same with reversed colours. The iron cross (German army, bugger-all to do with 'nazis') derives from the Teutonic Knights of course, although they all seem to be much the same with several variations available.

So Patrick is there a 19th C Maltese connection, or being associated with Gorton Monastery is it not likely to be one of the religious order crosses, from which the Maltese cross also derived?
