Just how good has this lad adapted to the Premiership. Another goal and another 2 assists today. He's racking the points up for me on Fantasy Football.
Just think if we had bought him in the summer I have no doubt we'd be scoring goals from corners, freekicks and open play and probably just be a point away from Chelsea. How did we let him go to Spurs without even looking to bid for him?
PS: His girlfriend is pretty amazing too! ;-)

Harry's an absolute wanker but he pulled off a massive coup with this one.

Cracking player and cannot believe I didn't put him back in my team. Lucky I have Nasri and Bale to ease the pain a little :(

I've gotta be honest , It's pretty close between Bale and VdV for players of the season - So far ! He's been great . imo

A few on here mentioned him as a target for us but I never fancied him. He rarely impressed me when watching Real or Holland or even Hamburg. Fair play to Redknapp. Far and away the best pound for pound signing of the season and arguably the player of season so far.
Top drawer and seems to be thriving with the pace of tempo of the Prem.
Harry Redknapp gets so much abuse on here, it's almost become fashionable to dislike him and I suspect that some who give him abuse have a lot more admiration for him than they would dare admit. I think he's a top manager who has a better eye for a player than most.

Dutch players have been fore runners in the english game. Easy to adopt the pace and prob the lang.Muren at Ipswich long before the majority of Mancityfansers were born. Well I few of us.
Don't like Spuds though. Could we hope for a Birmingham, Wiggers and West Ham trebble. Well Lets hope for us doing ulham 2morrow
CTID!!

The problem with the vdV move was that it was completely off the radar. It was a last minute deal due to JM giving him the nod that he wasn't needed, hence the relatively low price.
Oh, and I actually like the old twitchy twat, but he is good for some abuse.

Thought he was dross first half but Wengers Arsenal always give you a chance - 4 touches led to 3 goals - brilliant or lucky ? He won´t last the pace imo with injuries and CL. Crap at Madrid and I mean crap!

You've must have been in a cave for the last three months, either that or you don't watch the Premiership.

Give me the Allardyce's and Redknapp's of this world over the zero personality Wenger types any day of the week.
Expect one of these week's for one of them to stand up at a press conference and say "We will be playing four four fucking two" and walk out.

Exactly, at £8Mil he was well worth taking a punt on. Very shrewd by Redknapp.

Great player but only Spurs could sign him. He was supposed to go to Bayern Munich for £18m and when that fell through on deadline day, Ruud Gullit who works with Jamie Redknapp on Sky told Jamie who rang his dad in a flash and in 30 mins he was on his way to London. Lucky for them.
