Like a side playing at home when we are away..yet play like an away side when at home?

Very frustrating

Mancini said the obvious. Teams attack us at their house, and sit back at ours.

When we're away, the home team has to try to win and it suits our counter attacking style.

However, we are the only home team in the premier league that doesn't always try to win at the moment. At home you absolutely HAVE to put more emphasis on straight out attack or teams will just sit there, happy to take the point.

Bobby has it bang on away from home, but has the penny dropped for our home games?

We'll see...

because at home teams put 11 men behind the ball & come for a draw

Aye. It's a sign that we're becoming a quality side.
Once upon a time, teams would come to CoMS looking to beat us. Now the best they hope for is a point.

Once we learn to deal with teams at home, we'll be the finished article.

But we still looked dangerous today when Fulham had 11 behind the ball. It's all about attitude imo. At home we need to 'go for it' & don't. Away the opponents go for us. Today & v WBA aren't the same as the earlier away games though, where we were much more cautious (apart from Wolves which was a shambles). Birmingham was a hangover after the pathetic gutless excuse for a derby imo; we lost our mojo because of being scared of the filth. As Bellamy said; we stood off the rags but steamed into Fulham.

I bet if we played Brum at home next Saturday, we'd tear them to fucking pieces.

We've scored the most away goals in the league, whilst only Wigan have scored less at home.

Simple. When we play at home and we haven't taken the lead after half an hour or so, the atmosphere drops, people become more tense, this makes the players feel more uncomfortable and they lose theier shape and structure trying to score.
Less pressure away from home.

It helps when you give two centre halves two strikers to deal with.

Eh its just a thought like.

If you watched the game you shouldn't be asking that question.

It's like when we are away he counters by being more attacking. When at home he counters their defensive attitude by being more cagey. Go figure.

The point i was trying to make was that having another striker helped drag people out of position creating space.
Jo might not have played bang up top but he helped stretch the defence through his presence.
