I'm not gonna do a POLL because I'm sure there'll be plenty of different options, some of which I wouldn't go for.
I got the idea for this thread from something Dodgy 'Arry said about Bale being the best player in the league so far this season - something I disagree with.

So who's yours so far and why? Try to give stats and not to let your City bias get in the way!!

Nasri's been in amazing form, those two goals the other day were sublime. Elmander at Bolton too. Van der Vaart and Chamakh have been impressive from the point of view that they're both new to the league and settled in really quickly, Pedersen's having a revival at Blackburn, and I've liked the look of Gyan at Sunderland.

For us, on consistency alone it's Tevez and Kompany so far.

Andy Carroll? Wouldnt want to say him though as he annoys me as I havent got him in fantasy football.

I'm going to say Wayne Rooney

Bale has been great, but better in the champs league to be honest

Tevez or Nasri for me - maybe Nasri as he's scoring for fun from midfield

Nasri/Tevez/Bale, not sure in which order though, if I'm honest.

Nasri has done well as has Tevez & Bale's been great in Europe, Silva is closing fast but over 90 mins every week I'd put Vinny above them.
So thinking about it all & weighing it all up, I'll go for Bryan Robson, what? He's retired? Scholes then.

Bale hasn't done anything worth noting in the Premiership so far.
I'd go for Micah personally.

A new name is Malouda who was on fire early doors but he's gone off the boil along with Chelsea. A lot of Bale's good work has been in Europe so it's a toss up between VDV and Nasri for me.

Bale. Though I've been impressed with Charlie Adam too.

Seriously though, Nasri has impressed me, Bale too but more in the CL so I'd go for the French.

van de vaart was doing great untill injury and like everyone says nasri i shit hot at the mo , chamakh has been weighing in a few goals aswell .
but without doubt the player who i stand out head and shoulders above the rest for goals/assists and pure influence on games is our very own carlos......................or maybe the portugese hobo?
