I love it. I especially love the fact that we have been just off the shoulders of the leaders which has meant no pressure.

Some truth in that. But it's also true that we seem to be getting it all together at a crucial time - three/four weeks ago I was calling for Mancini's head, not any more :-)

Although I agree with your premise Daz I would prefer it if our title ambitions remained somewhat understated - for obvious reasons I´m sure you´ll agree cobber!

It's not really shouting stuff like that, we are title contenders, being joint top after 17 games makes it impossible not to be.

Whether we fuck it up is another matter.

I absolutely love it but we HAVE to sign a striker in the transfer window. We've almost got away with half a season without reliable backup for Tevez but if we don't sign anyone, the Gods of football will injure Tevez in Feb & we'll be fucked. We absolutely cannot rely on Ade Balo & Jo. They should be treated a the icing, not the cake.

Still early, I usually wait till the January Window and mid-season to size things up. Usually I
am trying to figure out how my points it will take us to automatically avoid.....

There's still noone in the team I love more than Stevie, although David Silva is doing a great job of wooing me. Give it another month and I'll be over it.

I know where you are coming from. When Stevie, Elano and Robby clicked it was a thing to behold. You are right though, David Silva is the one who seems most like them in the "naturally gifted" sense. Sadly I think Ireland only really shone when he had similar talent around him he could play off. Silva is another level and will shine in a variety of roles and with different players.
