Not prone to listening to bullshit but they just announced on the Irish 'premiership' programme that a newspaper is running a story in the morning reporting that Tevez has put in a transfer request, has anyone heard anything about this?

I really hope you are kidding with that remark, you are completely out of order. I am simply saying that I just watched a programme where they reported that a newspaper was publishing a story saying that Carlos handed in a transfer request. What is your problem?

If Chinners is replying to Bollox, then I'm inclined to believe it's Bollox! Fuck that Bollox!

If untrue.

Carlos Tevez hands written transfer request to Manchester City
Posted by Rob Parker on December 11, 2010 in: Manchester City, Citeh skipper wants out
Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez wants to quit the club and has handed in a written transfer request, according to the News of the World.
The Argentinian star is said to be fed up with life under City boss Roberto Mancini. Tevez is said to have told chief executive Garry Cook he wanted to leave two weeks ago and followed it up with an official letter last Monday.
The tabloid quotes a source as saying: “He has a fantastic respect for the fans and the owner, Sheikh Mansour but it has got to the stage where he cannot face life at City anymore.”Tevez is desperate to be sold in the January transfer window.

Using 'Citeh' in an article really lends a piece credibility. Meanwhile the Mail also claim the exclusive . . . .

Carlos Tevez wants to quit Manchester City: Troubled striker hands in transfer request
EXCLUSIVE By Joe Bernstein
Carlos Tevez has rocked Manchester City by telling them he wants to quit the club.
The troubled 26-year-old from Argentina handed in a written transfer request yesterday as the club went joint top of the Premier League without him in a 3-1 win at West Ham.
Mancini believes Manchester City can win the title... even without Carlos Tevez Target man: Carlos Tevez (left) has scored 39 goals in 60 games for City
Tevez took the drastic course of action after feeling increasingly homesick in Manchester and falling out with Italian manager Roberto Mancini.
The pair clashed in public last week when Mancini substituted the striker in the final moments of a 1-0 victory against Bolton.
The news will devastate City fans, who have regarded Tevez as their talisman since his controversial arrival from neighbours and bitter rivals Manchester United in 2009.
Tevez has scored 39 goals in 60 games for City but has cut an increasingly forlorn figure off the field. His loneliness is a result, in part, of his failure to learn English properly despite spending four years in England with West Ham, Manchester United and City.

The transfer request, which was made known to chief executive Garry Cook and football administrator Brian Marwood, will alert every top club in Europe, including Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Flashpoint: Carlos Tevez, left, clashes with manager Roberto Mancini after being substituted against Bolton
They could be expected to pay at least £30 million to sign Tevez, although the striker may even decide to quit football altogether because he is missing his newly-born daughter in Argentina so much. He has told friends that he will continue to do his best for City while he remains their player but is adamant that there is no long-term future for him at the club.
He still has more than three years of his current deal left and City had hoped to make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League at £250,000 a week.

I think it's like your column Chinners, just Bollox, however if they are reporting those quotes, then they must have some info.

I've mentioned before about Carlos not being happy with the young players ability to call the shots, maybe this is a reaction to that?

If it is true and he wants out to go back home then i wish him all the best. I've enjoy seeing him play for us and i hope i see him play for us for a long while yet but i always knew deep down that he didn't want to be here especially when he split up with his missus.

He's very important to us but he isn't irreplaceable.

Hope he stays!

I know mate, but any media outlet who are going with such a statement (huge in any terms) are not going into it blind, are they?

I do hpe they are talking crap and just trying to sell their backpage.
