I think it was Beefy on here a few weeks back that didn't agree with me saying Tevez will go soon. I didn't have any inside info or any sources, i just knew who Carlos Tevez was when he signed, i knew he would only be here for a few years and i knew in that time he would be the ultimate professional, putting 100% in everything he did which he has but i never took him to my heart like i have with other players and like other fans did.

Tevez is tired, homesick, wants to retire, takes time off to see his daughter and is caught on camera spending that time banging his mistress (the actually banging remains unphotographed), feels there's too much greed in football despite being the highest paid player in Britain, hates football in general yet throws a wobbly every time he's taken off, wants his old life back, hates the club executives, claims that he would like to punch his young teammates and finally hands in a transfer request.

Time at club - 1 1/2 seasons - the 1/2 a season grudgingly, against his will.

I really hope we don't turn on him as fans, he's a plank but then so is Mario Ballotelli and he has given us plenty of great memories in the short time he has been with us, he hasn't shit on the fans IMO, he hasn't shit on his teammates or manager. He's just a plank who happens to be quite good at football and can make people happy for a short while.

It's not like Kinkladze or SWP leaving where our main man left and there looked to be no hope for the club in the future. He is a goalscorer, he has scored the same amount of goals as Andy Carroll, he is replaceable.

I can beat you on that one. I played Championship Manager 03/04 and signed Tevez a couple of years later. He had that little unhappy icon next to him after about six months and nothing I could do could make him happy.

So I knew in 2004!! :-p

Not exactly ITK stuff, I suppose loads posted similar sentiments and in our heart of hearts we knew he wasn't here for the long term.

Ho hum, it's like girlfriends. After a split you're fed up for a while, but it doesn't take long before you're thinking about the next one.
