What potential does he have?, though I do question why if so good did he not stay at Barca?

It's not that he wasn't good enough...If I remember rightly he had some sort of falling out with them which ended up him walking out of his contract for free.

Cant be bovvered writing it all out again but there is a thread with all the details on why he fell out with Barca.
He was due to go into the first team alongside Pedro and he got injured. Pedro is now a fixture in the first team.
As he has been schooled in the barca pass and move he should fit in well with players like Silva and Yaya.
