Right, so I saw this thread on a different forum where people where asked to post the starting 11 of their club chosing players of the last decade.
Thought that might be an interesting thread idea for this forum too, especially considering how much the club and the players have changed.

No doubt some of the current crop will replace most of the old names but have tried to base it on players who have done well for us in the team they were in. Couldn't bring myself to put Barton's name in there.

SWP pre Chelsea would run them close as well, but I have gotta agree with Bingo, this present team shits all over anything in my lifetime, let alone last 10 years!

I started a thread similair to this awhile ago. Depends whether you are talking about your personal favourite players of the decade or the actual best players of the decade if it's the latter this thread is pointless. As above our current team is lightyears ahead of a couple of seasons ago

Yes, throw in Weaver and that is perfection!
We all have Andy Morrison to thank for dragging us out of Div 2, he was a monster.

What would be our current best 11, and what is the best 11 of the last decade excluding any of your best current 11, and who would win?

These are favourites of the decade, i'd not expect too much with Jihai and Sinclair in the side, but I did like those two.
