It says on there it's only open for residents of Ireland.

Also if you ready it correctly there's an admin charge of 15 Euros per successful application - not just every application.

Anyone in Ireland want to stick my name in ;-)

I did read it correctly. At the end it says -

Administrative charges: 15 EUR is charged per application.(this is to cover printing, postage and credit card clearance costs)

Xavi - if I'm wrong I stand corrected and apologise.

I can't find the bit you're quoting, all I can see is Q6 on the attached link - http://fai.ie/images/stories/UELF2011_FAQ_ENG.pdf where it indicates this 15 Euros is added only if you're successful in obtaining tickets. Though it is clear as mud - surprise surprise.

BTW if turns out you're correct - they are a bunch of robbing b*st*rds!! Cannot see how they can justify a charge of 15 Euros just for applying though.

I'll look at it in more detail when I'm eligible to apply seeing as I'm not Irish based.

Would rather wait till we get there, then get one from City. At least then I know I will be in an end full of City fans.

fingers crossed

The bit I quoted was from my receipt. One of the FAQs says -

Q6: Are there any Administration Charges in addition to the ticket prices?

A6: For each ticket order an Administration Charge will be applicable. This charge consists of administrative fees, handling fees, and delivery fees for secure mailing of tickets by express courier. The Administration charge is of 15 EUR per ticket order.

It doesn't mention succesful so I presumed it to be general. If I'm wrong then fair enough.

That's a per order charge, not a per application charge.

Because FIFA/UEFA still feel guilty about cheating RoI out of the world cup place?

Plus the ticket touts over there need a help in hand too, id expect 80% of these tickets to be on the black market when the teams are known (unless its liverpool). Well done UEFA!

I will wait till we get to the final and then have to buy black market.

I made the mistake of applying in the Istanbul ballot and was successful, we all know what happened there! We never got to the final and the two teams in the final we so shit that I could not even give the tickets away. I lost the money I spent (which was heavy when converted to our shit currency) so although the thought did cross my mind i think i will wait this time.
