With Mancini withdrawing a little, and using Platt as political cover, i have to say that i've been impressed with Platt's attitude and the things he's saying. His press work is better than Hughes, and he clearly has Mancini's back in a way that very few people would and that means a lot for our club. I like that Mancini pressed hard to get him on his staff despite pushback from Cook and obv. what the fans would say. Courage, or fear, is a dangerous weapon.
As Georgian Genius is to Roberto, apparently i am to Platt. Laff.
Just sayin...unsheath yr swords...i'll take on all comers.
cheers

Platt's attitude = plattitudes.
He's desperate to win us over. Jury's still out for me. Still annoyed he never rang us back about the gardening contract.

First time I have ever been able to bring myself to listen to him was after the West Ham game. I thought he made a lot of sense.

i'm feelin it. I just watched his post-Juve commentary and loved when he kinda backed down from the question of being "happy" with a draw -- he said we should have won, and he was articulate and specific. Completely un-Hughes-like as well which i love.
He's growing on me...hopefully it's not a rash.
cheers

I don't like or trust him at all, no matter what he says or does. He's slagged us off for years so fuck him off asap imo

A dirty rag twat who would sell his mother to the Devil for Evil chore's just to keep his own ugly heart in view. Don't let him fool you, the Devil is good at that. He is here for the money and to have Mancio's back when required - he never gave a fuck about City and would try to rip us a new arse-hole whenever he got his face, or even voice, in the public domain. Things may change with time, but he won't!
I'm amazed he's not started growing extra feature's on the back of his head as he's such a two-faced cunt!

love that version of it...you would have prollee guessed that tho.
i have to say tho that i love the fact that he will have Mancio's back....Platt doesn't have to love us, but he will grow to if we win something and have some longevity. How can you not love us? We're fucking invisible.
cheers

That was definitely a Hughes strong point, not even the anti brigade can deny that. So, you sir, are wrong.

you thought his say-nothing, repetitive, double-speak was a positive? i have to admit at the time he seemed smooooooth as fuclin Loggins & Messina or the Doobie Brothers, but listening to him espouse the same shite at Fulham has made me realize he's fucking paper-thin.
i dunno dude...agree to disagree i guess, but i'd much prefer Mancini pretending not to know English or Platt just looking ugly but saying something from the heart.
cheers

that's like saying you can replace Bingo in the crew with Antti. Bingo will do anything short of bloodshed and spiders for you, whereas Antti might offer you a cup of coffee and a good tune and if they pick your bones apart he'll sit cross-legged and sketch the event on his sketchpad.
loyalty is more important than history in this circumstance i feel. Have you really watched the interviews i'm talking about and had issues with anything he said?
