Kompany or Tevez for me

So far, and based on on-pitch performance's only, it's got to be Carlos. However, we're not even half way through the season and the like's of Vinnie, Dave and Yaya could easily take it off him if he doesn't perform or, god forbid, he leaves.

I think LB is right, Vinnie is the epitomy of a lad who has rose through our prestigious ranks. We've got a full squad of them at the mo.

Kompany may well want to stay at the club, but that's not really one of the attributes that make a Player Of The Year.

There really is no discussion here. Kompany is easily my favourite player out of current crop and in fact probably my favourite player in good few years. However, despite acting like a cock off the pitch, on it Tevez' performance has been perhaps best by City player in my 26 following City.

Tevez for me; regardless of his antics out of the pitch, he's been outstanding as a player. Vinnie is a close second tho.

Strange to think that for many years it has been a defender who has got the prestigious award, which just goes to show what our football was all about. I now like the fact that we are looking more at the forward players which means we are actually moving in the right direction; or should that be 'moved'?

Kompany for me. Been a rock at the back and also had time to go off and make a decent tune.
