No sign of any more snow in the north west but very, very cold. Lucky for those with the heated seats!

Buy your City snoods.

May haved to get fully snooded up for this one. Cold doesn't bother me on the whole but after walking from & to Piccadilly last time, with just a thin plastic hood thingy & T shirt underneath, I realised the true meaning of the word 'cold'.

They weren't forecasting the snow on Friday night or Saturday, so who knows what it'll do by tomorrow.

Anyone noticed they're very good at telling you what the weather's been like to that point, then it all becomes a bit vague. If you watch bbc, the regional and national forecasts for Manchester are usually different and they give them 2 minutes apart.

Weather reports are even worse since technology has improved, or so it appears to me. On Friday, in Coventry, we had a monster blizzard. BBC weather were reporting clear skies and sunshyiiiiinnne at that exact moment. The blizzard went on for a while too. Utter shite.

Goals on Sunday must know more than we do.

They just showed the table and said, "So its Manchester United top at Christmas".

On that note, where's JC with his Suppository thread, I'm sure there'd have been loads about us seeing there's fuck all else to talk about.

Well the OS seem to think its on

The Blues face Everton on Monday evening and there will be a distinctly festive theme to the occasion.

It’s our last game before Christmas and we have plenty of treats in store for everyone, but we want you to get in the mood tas well by wearing your blue Santa hats, suits or anything else connected with the holiday season.

There will be a Blue Moon Christmas carol service in City Square and everybody is invited to join in and have a good old sing-a-long - and there will be turkey barms, mulled wine and mince pies available at the catering outlets, too.

We’ll be playing Christmas music and the CityStore will be gearing up for those last minute gifts that will make the Big Day that little bit more special for the fellow Blues in your family.

We’ll even have a ‘Goodometer’ in the Family Stand to find out who has been naughty or nice – and it’s linked directly to the North Pole, so Santa will be looking in!

So dig out your antlers, false beards and costumes and get in the party mood - let's make it the best Christmas ever and hopefully inspire the lads to the present we all want - three points!

It will go ahead as there's very little snow in Manchester and the roads are clear.

It's freezing, but I prefer that to wind and rain.

The short term weather forecasts are very accurate, and they say it will be dry but cold.

If you get too cold at the match you'll just have to 'do the Poznan' a few times to warm up.

Surely the club/police set a precident when the Salzburg game went ahead, if there are concerns about any snow around COMS?

From MCFC Twitter

Just been informed that, as it stands, the pitch is soft enough for the game to go ahead tonight. We'll let you know if that changes..

Great! Am really looking forward to tonight's game, albeit from the warmth of my living room with a good Christmas beer or two!
