Seriously....can we give him back to Inter?????

Dzeko is a must for January....Ballotelli is going to take months to get used to this league.

I don't want to get on his back, because he is young and it is a new league, however... he shouldn't be starting at the minute, by all means bring him on as a sub but games like tonight are not playing to his strengths. It was a real battle out there tonight and he shied away from it all game.

I'm positive that you are spot on here.

See the boxes marked C Ronaldo and D Drogba for how this is likely to pan out. Prepare the humble pie for those who are way way way too quick to jump to conclusions and get on the back of one of our own (new and very young) players.

Bebe, the tramp, was nominated too, as was Macheda, Says it all really.

Looking forward to getting a new striker in this January and let the mardy teenager come off the bench for 10 mins a game only.

The fella has an unbelievable talent and yet again hit the post after remarkable chest control.

He was unlucky tonight, because that goal would have changed everything. I also liked the fact he didn't bitch and moan.

He will be our Drogba, if handled correctly and I most definitely would like to see him start the next game... injury aside.

His feedback here is just fantastical...i love him. i'm sold. you can't make this shit up.

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli believes he was a worthy recipient of Tuttosport's Golden Boy trophy as the best player under the age of 21, claiming he does not even know who fellow contender Jack Wilshere is.

Balotelli finished ahead of Arsenal midfielder Wilshere for the Turin sports newspaper's award, and reckons he was a deserving winner.

"I am delighted to receive this award," said Balotelli to Tuttosport.

"Who should have won this award but me? Two years ago I finished sixth and a year ago fourth. It was finally my turn.

"I don't know who Wilshere is but the next time I play against Arsenal I will keep a close eye on him.

"Perhaps I can show him (Wilshere) the Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won it!"

The 20-year-old Balotelli, who joined City in the summer from Inter Milan, hopes this award will be the first of many as he targets domestic and European success in 2011.

"My aim is that this prize will, in the near future, transform itself into the Golden Ball Award," he said.

"To have won this award is a good omen to achieve that."

Balotelli has big ambitions for next year.

"All I ask for is two things: to win the Premier League, in order to continue with the tradition I had at Inter of winning three consecutive league titles, and to clinch the Europa League - a trophy that I have not yet won, and a competition where we are considered favourites," said Balotelli.

Absolutely fanatical about Mario Balotelli. He is one of the great young talents in world football and 2/3 of the commentary about him has degenerated into rumour and abuse. Even since he has signed for us, he has gradually adjusted to this league and has been quite good for us in the Europa League.
As for his comments about Jack Wilshire, we should really keep in mind that Balotelli has Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League winner's medals and has scored goals in the UEFA Champions League. Wilshire is a promising talent, but has not taken that next step yet in his development.
