As I posted in the Match thread, at least by not being top at Chrimbo, then we are statistically more likely to win the motherfucker. We'll be reet my friend, just a bad night at the office being ruined by someone who should have stopped refereeing the day he thought of starting.

It hurts to have lost this game but we dominated it, definitely didn't bottle it. We made two mistakes and both cost us a goal, but we should laso have three penalties for handball, Balotelli's ball could have gone in if it had been just few inches more on the left, Howard made some great saves...a game where nothing went our way it happens but we didn't bottle it.

I know its raw but we aside from looking shaky at the back we were by far the better side tonight and on another occasion we could have had 4 or 5 with 2 penalties. To say we bottled it is harsh. We fought back from a dreadful start and Everton didn't deserve the 3 points that I'm sure the media will convince us they did.

Slight overreaction. It was bad, but if you could live with Spurs at the end of last season then losing to our latest bogey team should be water off a duck's back.

It's just that time and time again we overhype our team and look like we've finally changed but we still always end up as typical city.

Typical city IS dead.

Typical city was to go into an easy win and lose 3-0.
Typical city was to go ahead and end up imploding.
Typical city was to concede one and the players mentally pack up and go home.

We lost to our bogey team and we did not deserve too, a bad 15-20 mins cost us today, it happens. On another day we would have knocked 5 past them, tonight it was just one of those days.

No team goes without losing, to say we are the old typical city because we narrowly lost a game is insanity.

IMO we'll win the league this season. That result will kick all complacency out of the team.

Late 90's early 2000's the forum was much more of a laugh than it is now. We had no expectations, we were shit and we knew we were shit. This place was as funny as fuck.

Now with the expectation the over-reactions have got much worse.

I half expected a draw tonight, to be honest, and obviously in hindsight that wouldn't have been too bad. But the title is at least a season off, as tonight proved conclusively. We need more consistent performers like the sadly absent De Jong, more energy, and less headless chicken displays from... well, the list is long tonight. The thing is, most of that team will perform well again soon, but I don't know if Balotelli will ever settle, or Milner ever improve. Johnson still has a long, long way to go, and Mancini has been proved right in keeping him as an impact sub. I don't really feel all that bad at the moment, apart from being a bit down, but I'm gonna hate that familiar feeling of waking up when City have just lost.

Probably done us a favour that,if the manager wasn't sure about recruiting another Striker before the game then.........

A disappointing aspect, specifically first half, was the lack of desire to be first to the ball,Cahill is a cnut, however,he's a cnut i'd want in our team.

Some of the decisions were an absolute disgrace.

We should have won.All in all, just another, one of them nights....!
