McManaman on ESPN2

Watching City lose while freezing your arse off at COMS must have been bad, but at least you watched it in the company of City supporters shouting for the team. Watching it on ESPN2 with Steve McManaman commentating was dire. He relished every minute of it. He reckoned all the ref's decisions were correct and he never missed a chance to have a dig at City, the money, Tevez, and the players who can't get on the bench. Adam Johnson's 2 a.m drinking bout became "dis has often been a problem at dis club, yer know" and then he was banging on about how ManU haven't lost & have games in hand. He was a twat from hello to goodbye. I asked the barmaid in my local to turn off the sound in the second half but three American rags objected, so I had to endure the Scouser's nasal-toned vile bile all afternoon.

You'd never thought that we paid the twat 50k a week for two years while he was either stood in the centre circle pointing a lot or more commonly in the physio room nursing another injury. Slated us start to finish which is surprising as we were playing fucking Everton!
And the way he continued to slate Silva for missing a 'golden chance' in the first half. Id like to see that fuckwit do better from that bounce/angle/players running at him. Bellend.

No, not that surprising, he supported Everton as a kid, even said so during his commentary.

To be fair, he was commentating on the game against West Ham (I think) and he was pretty complimentary. He's just a thick scouser.

Yeah I had to watch on espn2 as well and I hate that bastard. It was hilarious though how they were making fun of the players for wearing extra shit to keep warm, and then they spend the entire second half complaining about how cold it is! I watched the last twenty minutes on mute he was that ridiculous.

Seen him the other day in town while he was lost. Mrs told me to help him, I told her politely to ram it. He followed, I didn't help.
End of story.

I couldn't stand him. He had nothing positive to say about City at all. I'm glad the other commentator was there to balance him out. (Ian Darke?)

Indeed, tbf Macmanamanaman is usually fairly complementary about us and has often said he'd like to see us win it this season in commentary

I did, that's why he was following us. He was talking on the phone so I give him the look and started pointing. Very vaguely.
