Balotelli injured?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Balotelli injured?

Postby avoidconfusion » Tue Dec 21, 2010 12:57 am

When he came off it looked like a re-occurance of that knee injury that saw him out injured for a few months.

Anyone heard anything more about what happened?

I'm guessing the Man City doctors aren't on our forum?

The only thing certain in my mind that once January arrives, so does a top class striker / finisher

I certainly hope not.

I think some of us really underate Balotelli. He may be full of antics on the pitch but his off the ball movement is brilliant for such a young player. In my opinion he has just got bags of natural ability that other players spend years working on.He seems to time his runs amazingly well and has a real instinct in front of goal.

What do people expect from a 20 year old footballer?

He has just been handed the under 21 ballon D'or award yet the faithful still moan and whinge about him.

We have a real talent on our hands here.

Twisted snood apparently.

Just needs a visit to a womens prison & a handjob from the president of AC Milan & he'll be right as rain.

i care...i don't really find the attitudes towards him reflective of the value he has on the pitch.

He makes it easy to dislike him even when he's your own player tho, that much is true. Youth. That will get corrected...or he will become Anelka, if he's lucky.

cheers

I think Balotelli could become the best striker in the world. I think the 2nd best current player in the world is an utter cad though & Balotelli could go the same way if he's not careful.

I didn't think he was too bad last night. It's not his fault that he's been asked to be a top Prem Lg striker at the age of 20. It is his fault that he's a bit of a tosser though.

If he does, it won't be at City though & there's the problem; if his head continues to grow, he'll be out of our club before we see the best of him. No way will someone of that nature stay at the club if he thinks he's too good for us now. We'll get one more season out of him at best unless he settles down.

I'm convinced Mario is going to be the absolutely increible in the not too distant future. Sure he's a mentalist, but that's the price you pay for his talent.

Delighted he's here.

I've said before that he will probably be here as long as Bobby is around...can't see a new manager warming to him to be honest

I thought it was something to do him missing a one-on-one, broken Ego maybe?
