Showed last night why I prefer Lescott.
Got totally bossed and I think Zabaleta won more headed challenges than he did.
He's been great this season, but as soon as somebody exploits his weakness like Everton did last night then we're in trouble.
Hope Jolene plays out his skin next game and cements a bit of a run at CB with Vinny (who also had his worst game that I can remember)

Got no qualms with Kolarov, looked our biggest threat at times although I do agree with the point about crossing.
Milner has pissed me off since his debut.

I thought Kolarov was bobbins too last night. Too slow getting to the player for their first goal and didn't even challenge him before he crossed to Cahill. Very predictable when we get a free kick now as well, give it to kolarov who will blast it from anywhere on the pitch. Totally pointless.

Absolutely awful player, weak positionally and in the air. He makes his brother look like Lionel Messi (which takes some doing!). In my humble the Toure brothers are far and away the two weakest links in the side. When you think what they pick up per week between them it's nothing short of criminal.

Kolo needs to learn to take responsibility during matches. Whether it's being available to receive the ball, covering for his team-mates or being brave enough to put himself in the way of a shot he is badly lacking.

He was a knob for getting red carded, he's supposed to be the level headed calming influence in defense sorting the others out, but he acted like a hot headed teenager and now sits the next game out. Concerning his play, he was on a level with Vinnie last night (which would have been a compliment for pretty much any game other than this one) - still a country mile better than Lescott on this season's performances so far, but we haven't seen much of Lescott at CB to be fair. I don't understand all the hate for him really. Generally been solid and reliable, he prevented at least two goals last night that I can remember, people might say well that's his job, but then scoring goals is Tevez's job and look at the love he gets for doing it. To sum up, I would like to be reincarnated as a striker in my next life please, not a CB.

Kolo dropped a bollock at the end, but was far better than Vinny last night.
Vinny completely ball watched the 1st goal.
Left his man and Kolo tried to take both for the 2nd.
Fucked up a simple pass that nearly led to a 3rd.
Lets just lay the blame equally lads, not just on the boo boys.
Oh and mIlners wank.

True, Kompany was more of a liability last night unfortunately. First bad game of the season from him.

His crossing was shocking but he will score goals one volley in particular he hit last night was technically brilliant. He needs time to get used to where our strikers want the ball. He shoukd of closed down quicker for their first goal. Kolo well turning his back on baines shot pissed me right off. Cahill bullies most in the air tbf though

As others have said Vinny had a far worse game, but neither of them covered themselves in glory. Stupid sending off at the end as well.

Wasn't that Gareth Barry?

Kolarov had a couple of pings from outside the area that were quality. I think I can remember the Barry one was well, just nicked the top of the bar?

Absolutley shocking last night...perhaps he was expecting to be Captain again and saw his arse when Tevez changed his mind.
Clearly played a major part in the first goal and whilst not directly involved in the second needed to be far more vocal getting and organising support from the midfield while Zabs was off.

Barry had one kolorovs was coming across his body at a very difficult angle and he got over it and hit it brilliantly unfortunately not far enough from Howard. He'll score a few this season

I only remember the Barry one, that was quality technique. Kolorov however, considering he's only had a handful of games showed enough to make me think he's gonna be a top player for us offensively when he settles in.

Thought the defence was poor as a unit & individually bar Zabba.
I don't understand why we can't use Lescott against teams who have an aerial threat & Kolo against the trickier teams. Don't think it would have made a difference last night though. It was just a bad defensive performance all round. Relegation rather than title level defending.

I thought he wasnt too bad actually. Yes he should have blocked off Baines shot but Milner should have tracked his run which led to his position.
Agree with those who thought Vinnie was wank, because first half he was fucken DIRE. still love the guy thou.

Milner should never of being put in that position in the first place. 8 minutes is too long for a player to be patched up. Mancini should have made the sub and put Boateng on. Gollum was exploiting Milner's inability to position himself at right back every single attack they had and it resulted in the goal.

Agreed. Mancini should of subbed Zab, however this does not deter from the fact that he should of tracked his man.
