Only scored more than 1 goal in 2 matches and the Liverpool game was a bit of a freak in which all our shots in the match went in.
As many posters have said in previous weeks, stop Tevez, you stop City - especially at home it seems.
Let's hope the January transfer window will be kind and bring us a goalscorer.

I'm hoping that once the transfer window opens we can get rid of Ade & Crocky and bring in a real front man. Dzeko is the ideal man for us in this respect but if we can't get him, and people may scoff at my suggestion, but I honestly think Peter Crouch would be ideal for us. I'd play Tevez in the hole behind our new target man meaning we'd line up thus:
Hart
Micah Toure Kompany Kolorov
Toure NDJ
Silva Tevez Balotelli/Johnson
Dzeko/Crouch
Whadd'ya reckon?

I must admit we are finding it very difficult to break teams down who come to City to defend for their lives and go away happy that they earn a point, to beat us is a bonus but it seems they all now know that defending all game against us will result in a draw at least. It is up to us to unlock defences and this should be addressed as soon as possible otherwise our top four spot will be under threat not just the our title ambitions.

I've always thought Crouch would be an excellent signing for us. He scoring record however is quite shit when you just take league games into account

Don't know if anyone has ever mentioned this guy on here before but maybe city should look into him.
I'd like to get defoe. We need a good finisher.

Who will the next bandwagon be?

Why the hell would you want Defoe then? He is garbage finisher. He is speed merchant and someone who gets into scoring positions consistently because of his pace but good finisher he is not. Despite what Harry might say.
Also, Defoe has only couple of years left at anywhere near top. Players like him and Owen who rely mostly on their pace are done once they lose that half a yard.
My prediction, two years from now Defoe will be in Wigan. Four years and he is either finished or playing for Charlton reserves.

Our home scoring record is appalling. Only Wigan and Birmingham have scored less. Conversely, defensively we're pretty good. We need to find a way to break teams down quickly, otherwise our season could be badly affected. Apart from Spurs, we've played all the decent teams at home already, so for the rest of the season, we're going to have teams we should beat, but who will come and 'park the bus'. We need to learn the rag's trick of always beating them, even if only 1-0 in the 94th minute. That might mean more quality into the box and quicker passing around it, but it might also mean throwing caution to the wind late on, overloading the box with a few big players and hoping for a lucky break.

We just need more goal contributors. Midfielders. Defenders. Get on the scoresheet please.

Good point Dazby.
Who'd have thought Yaya would be outscoring all our other midfielders at the start of the season?
Barry, AJ, Milner and co need to step it up a bit. Silva too for that matter.
