Absolute Pants- Keegan ish display

Postby eastlands-lostboy » Tue Dec 21, 2010 1:47 pm

The performance against Everton was a throw back to the KK era, anyone who thought it wasn't cast your mind back to when we had a great result against the rags on the Sunday and then went to Leeds on a freezing night and fucked up. I could go on but that was diabolical. If its supposed to be in a match thread I don't care. Been a MCFC fan for over 47yrs and that was a very unproffesional attempt to get us where we are aiming to be as a club. After 47yrs I should be more optomistic and wait for a couple more weeks I suppose !....shite !

It wasn't dire. We paid two defensive mistakes and that was always going to make it difficult to come back with them parking the bus but we never stopped trying and with a bit mor eluck we would have drawn it at least (penalties not seen, Balotelli's post...).

I was reminded of Keegan circa 2003, too. I decided not to say so, though, as I'd no doubt have received the same kind of negativity I did for daring to post a photo of Everton players going mental after winning a league fixture.

After 47 years you'd think to see if this had been discussed at length elsewhere first ... ;)

you know full well the reaction was for the "small time/cup final" comments.

After 47 years you'd think he'd have learned how to spell "optimistic".

There-again, being a City fan that long .......... pessimistic is a word he'd know better ;-)

Surely if it was Keegan it would have been 5-6 to them?
