Milner - Ireland

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Milner - Ireland

Postby superkev8705 » Wed Dec 22, 2010 1:44 pm

If you had the chance to go back to August and cancel the deal entirely, would you?????

Im not an Ireland lover but i just dont see what Milner has improved in our squad. He dosent even have the excuse of not playing in the Prem League before. Hopefully he can improve quickly and show us it was worth all the hassle. Liverpool at home is the only cracking game i can think of him having.

Only thing why I'd go with Milner is that he is not a whiner. As far as football goes, I can't claim that Milner have been any way better than Ireland was for us even in his worst.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Are you shitting me?

Milner is twice the player Ireland is...even if he isn't the strongest link in our team

Ireland was a one season wonder who has since been found out

You'll be telling us how good Bojinov was for us next...

Exactly, neither of them has done anything worth a mention for their teams.

Milner has shown the quality he can produce in the Prem. He'll do it again.

He's also a professional and not some stupid, gobshite, bling-merchant.

It's up to Bobby to get the best out of Milner and find a place for him in the team. He proved last year that when deployed correctly and given a consistent run he is up there with the best in the league.

I don't think the chopping and changing of positions and lack of a run in the team are helping him one bit.

Harsh to have a go at the lad. He's a solid player who gives 100% every week, we need this type of player in the squad and Bobby needs to figure out how to get the best out of him.

Wasnt having a go about it. Just looking at what he has improved in us which appears to be fuck all so far but like you say, in Bobby we trust and hopefully he can get back to last seasons form.

Milner, team player, and we need a fair dollop of that.

It's Christmas, I will try and do a huge effort To help a limited understanding...

Do You want Your Club to be managed by this Clever Person?

http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/blog/dir ... sow-270226

Do You remember the ol' good days when a WUM thread suddenly used to appear on Bluemoon forum, almost quite every time the "WORLD BEATER" You love so much had been taken out of the starting eleven?

Or do You prefer the ol' good days when a FUCKTARD used to gift the derby to the Salford's side You appear to hate so much, just because - in his bright mind - it seemed to be the easiest way to put the bullet through the manager?
