The point is that the most successful players ALWAYS pass and move. If they dont then they will struggle, but it doesnt take a team to "gel" for each individual to play their part towards the common cause
Maybe I didn't understand what you meant then. Or maybe I didn't express myself well; what I meant is, you can have ten players who are excellent at passing and moving, but if the one who makes the pass doesn't know which way his teammate will move, he's likely to gift the ball to the opposition; when he learns the movements of all his teamamtes, he won't give the ball away so often. It's not that half the team moves and the other doesn't, it's more to do with the team moving "as an orchestra", where everyone knows what the other will do next. If that's what you meant, then I'm sorry for misinterpreting your post.
