What the FUCK!??

Foster, A.Cole, Terry, Vidic, Sagna, Kalou, Van der Vaart, Lampard, Nani, Berbatov & Rooney.

If there were any lingering doubts about Opta's credibility I reckon we can safely say they have now been put to bed!

To be fair Salomon Kalou would be the first name on my team sheet.

Or how Van Der Vaart has done enough during an injury-hampered four months. He definitely looks good, but I thought Opta were more about substance than style. Front two should be Bent and Tevez, no question.

They must have embarrassed themsleves putting Rooney in.He has just had the worst 9 months or so imaginable and everybody knows it.
And Terry......words fail me.

Foster has looked as ropey as fucl every time I've seen him play this season - unless he's played out of his skin in the other matches all I can say is WTF?? Same with Terry, same with R**ney.

So if it's a team for 2010, how is Hart not the keeper? He was the best English keeper last season and, I think, was voted best keeper of the season. This year, he's been our No 1 all season and we have one of the best defensive records. Foster wasn't getting a game till August when he moved to Brum.

Same with VDV, or do they count foreign performances? He'd have to have been Messi to make up full year since August, surely?

Rooney? A striker who hasn't scored a goal from open play since March?

Lampard? Great player, but has only played a couple of games this season due to injury.

I'm not claiming it should be full of City players, but that list is absolute nonsense.

Agreed. Tevez score more goals in the Prem than anybody else during 2010 so I can't see how he can be left out.

That's just bizarre. I don't even know where to start. I thought OPTA was supposed to be about statistics? How can someone like Rooney even be involved as striker. Surely strikers job is to score goals. If that's for year 2010, then how can van Der Vart even be there after about dozen games? Or is that some weird 'our favourite players in office' thing?

Surely scholes should be in there.

"We are not really here" is taking on an extra dimension.
