Apparently got a knee problem. Not sure how bad. Brian Kidd reckons it'll take about 48 hiurs to settle and will be assessed than.
We certainly need him to be fit aginst Arsenal.

Hopefully it'll be all right, but as we were probably always going to adopt a fairly cautious approach against the Gooners, it might not be that critical if he misses that game.
Putting the improving Milner into the middle might be worth trying out, that being the case

That's not the sort of news I wanted. If it's swollen enough to need 2 days I doubt he will make Wednesday.I fear a lengthy lay off.

If Dzeko is here by then, then it might delay the selection problem. We can easily settle into a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with Tevez sitting back slightly

It is only my standard language handling mistake.
I was only thanking John for bringing a news I could have only read tomorrow at best, not because of the happy ending of the issue.
I stand correct by You as usual , though.

Mancio,
I think Doug's bad news was referring to Silva's knee and not your post mate...No worries.
Doug,
I think what Kidd was eluding to in his interview was that we won't know much for about 48 hours, til it settles. It might not be as bad as you fear mate. A big worry if it is though.

I am sure John but anything that needs 2 days before you know the extent of the problem isn't going to be ok by Wednesday!
I will just remain the pessimist :) and hope for better.

well Mates. I am broken... but not that much... :-)
I did understand either your report John, and Douglas wise concern for a knock to knee, always difficult to assess and recover quickly.
My only worry is understanding by late how hard I made the way to chatting with me... :-)
I will never take any harm, Pal.

Didn't they say that after Balotelli got injured in his first ever game for us after he scored too?

I hope he's not hurt much!! If we miss him against the Arse it will be a big blow for us, but it will be an even worse blow if he was to play that game and then hurt himself more and be out for a long time, so I'd be cautious and keep him out of the Emirates game in any case.
