Cheers mate, they mentioned it on Sky about 5 seconds after I posted my question ha ha

A class more from Johnson and I'm glad he wasn't booked for it.

As a consequence of the actions of a member of the pondlife Terry clan.

Didnt realise this. What disgusting scum the Terry's are. Googled it and story from the mirror:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/12/16/footballer-dale-roberts-whose-fiancee-had-affair-with-john-terry-s-brother-killed-himself-as-he-struggled-to-come-to-terms-with-her-cheating-115875-22786687/

A goalkeeper whose fiancée had an affair with John Terry’s brother killed himself as he struggled to come to terms with her cheating.
Devastated Dale Roberts was found hanged at the home he shared with childhood sweetheart Lindsey Cowan, 25, until they split earlier this year.
Friends said the 24-year-old never got over the bombshell news she was seeing his team-mate Paul Terry, 31, and he was unable to face his first Christmas without her.
Sources suggested Lindsey found Dale hanging from a light fitting. The fling mirrors that of Chelsea skipper Terry’s alleged affair with Vanessa Peronncel, girlfriend of his former team-mate Wayne Bridge.
Yesterday a football shirt bearing the number one and Dale’s name was left with a message from Lindsey.
It read: “Dale I love you. You made my life amazing. That smile, those eyes, sleep tight, sweet dreams my baby. Love and big hugs always.”
Dale’s father George also wrote a message on the shirt with the words: “Good night. God bless. To the best son in the world. Dad. x.”
Other tributes last night flooded in for the popular footballer who played for Conference side Rushden and Diamonds. Manchester City star Adam Johnson, who grew up with Dale in Easington, Co Durham and was his best friend, said: I’m absolutely devastated. He was a really good friend. I’ll really miss him.”
Johnson, in Turin for City’s Europa League clash with Juventus tonight, said he would dedicate the match to his pal. Rushden and Diamonds called off last night’s youth game against Hull as a mark of respect.
Chairman Gary Calder said: “Our thoughts and prayers at this time go to his parents, family and friends.”
FA general secretary Alex Horne added: “It’s a tragic loss and it will be felt throughout the football family.”
Police are not treating the death as suspicious. As floral tributes piled up at the club’s Nene Park ground in Northants, some fans turned their fury on Paul Terry, who is married with two children. One message board post read: “He has a lot to answer for.”
Terry signed for Darlington in August after team-mates turned on him over the fling. He got to know secretary Lindsey when Dale let him stay at their home in Higham Ferrers, Northants, while he was injured.
Dale said at the time: “She told me she’d been seeing Paul. We’ve split.”
In a Mirror interview, his mum Isobella said in May: “He confronted her and she just blurted out it was true.” George, 62, added: “Paul is just like his brother John in my eyes.”
But grief-stricken Lindsey said last night: “Recent rumours and allegations about our relationship are without foundation. Dale was my childhood sweetheart and the love of my life. I will never get over his death.”

Those Terry brothers really have a penchant for ruining other people's relationships, don't they? Scumbags.

Johnson's best mate as well. Must be tragic for the lad.

Thoughts are with Dale's family.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
