Getting better each season & making himself invaluable to the team by getting the absolute best out of his football ability. If he had Ireland's attitude, he'd be playing for Boca reserves or similar. If Ireland had his attitude he'd be playing for City every week.
Top geezer & becoming a true City hero.

Zabba has been top notch and still retains his amazing versatility. I cant help thinking that Mancini has had something to do with this in quiet a big way, he likes Zabba and it has paid off.
While on that subject i was thinking recently also that AJ seems to have turned the corner and has responded to Mancini's criticism/encouragement. he is getting better at the all round team play and contribution.
Like Zabba and a lot of others tbh.. it is a real joy to see this all happening.

He seems to have reined in the silly stuff and added some real quality to his game in recent months. I was shocked he didn't start yesterday as I personally would have him at either left or right back before anyone else at the club right now.
I would go so far as to say that he is my POTY so far by a long distance......and I was never one of those who was a big fan originally of his headless chicken act.

He's quality and is also slowly managing to not be quite as reckless as in previous seasons, in some ways a shame because that's why I liked him so much, but in reality is a very good thing. I hope he's still here playing regularly when we're top dogs

The moment he came on yesterday, the threat down our left almost stopped; KJolarov was so poor it was frightening! Zab and Micah are far and away our best options at full back, it really is just not a contest for me.

Kolarov will come good but I fully agree on yesterdays' performance. Full marks to Mancini who immediately recognised the problem and made the substitution to sort it out

I love the way Zab has knuckled down when he had good reason to believe he might be shown the door; and he's shown definite improvement under SuperManc, in every facet of play.
Already a City legend!

So who? He has been head and shoulders above every player recently, even in defeat

Although I don't do player love-in's, Zab is probably my current favourite player. Immense attitude, huge heart and never-say-die performances, I do hope he gets the chance to nail down a permanent position.
I still can't believe he didn't get a card against Villa!

A vastly improved player that has faced the challenge to improve or be not good enough. Mancini seems to have had a number of individual successes like Micah, (possibly) Johnson and Zab.
If Zabba was reckless in previous seasons, it seems that together Zabba and Mancini have found his reck.

Is there anyone that wants Corluka back?
Zabs was always an upgrade on Charlie. Be interesting to see if anyone puts their hand up.

Remember when he joined our club a lot of thought he wouldn't be fast enough
to play on the wings. Has become our most consistent defenders since Dunne,
without the own penalties or own goals of course. He has amazing versatility as well.

The two players I respect the most for thier attitude and response to changes at City since the takeover are Zabs and Jo. The younger players and reserves (or elite-super-duper-almost-first-team development squad players) should take note of how they've handled things on and off the pitch and how it's been met and recognised by Bobby.
