Steve Kean

Can't get my head around his appointment for the life of me. I was surprised at Fat Sam's sacking, shocked that they replaced him with such an obscure backroom figure, astonished when they said he'd be there until at least the end of the season no matter what. Now Venky are saying he "has a vision" and will be there for "years to come" - and this after one win from four games. Am I missing something, or is he really just a puppet, a blank canvas for their bonkers transfer policy?

I think it's quite clear that Steve Kean - whoever he is - got hold of someone's ear and bent it, doing a quick Brutus and Cassius job on Fat Sam and saying he could do a lot better. Either he said it in person or through these 'advisers', of whom he is surely a client, by total coincidence.

He has to be the most obscure Premier League manager since Les Reed.

Isn't he thick as thieves with the the agent who brokered The Chicken People taking over? I was gonna say 'coup' but resisted, almost.
He 'has a vision'! hahahaha. And they say we're ruining football.

Aren't thier advisors the Agency that look after Steve Keens 'interests' ? Thier first bit of advice - get rid of Fat Sam as he'll eat all yer Chickens - oh and sort out a nice new management contract for Stevey who's just great *KERRRR-CHINNNGG*
2nd bit of advice - Sign Ronny - he was just great ... I remember when ... (can we get him to use us as his agency? )

Hehe.
Yes I think this is true & I think this is the same bloke who Frank more or less put in charge of aquiring players for us when he 1st arrived. He was perhaps muscled out by bigger fish though.
I think he, Joorabchian & Penissy Harvey all hoped they could get a similar power base at our club & the fact that Joorabchian was Hughes' & Tevez agent & brought in Cook, meant he almost achieved it. I think the subsequent attempts to sever all ties with him are behind the recent Tevez problems.

It would make sense. Let's just hope the attempts were successful. He's been conspicuous by his silence lately, Joorabchian, unless I've missed it.
Apparently the initial press releases regarding the wealth of the new Blackburn lot were out by a good few zeroes. It's gonna be like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

I'd almost feel sorry for them but I can't. I'm afraid that imo, Blackburn & Wigan offer absolutely nothing to the Premier League & the sooner they're replaced by two clubs worth playing, with proper fans worth hating, the better.

Jerome Anderson is the guy pulling the strings for them, coincidently reps Kean too. Funnily when he was inolved with us during Sven era we were constantly linked with ronnie, hes def got a piece of the action in him! If nothing else the whole thing is entertaining but could ruin them...

If they're trying to create a high profile in India, instead of signing Ronaldinho or Beckham, they should sign Sachin Tendulkar. Sell much more merchandise & make just as much difference on the pitch.

So in essence he is saying that every team in the league is better than his....he's brilliant.

Can't fucking stand the bloke and even though I'm not the biggest fan of FS, I don't like to see people stabbed in the back like these cunts have. At least Sam had something about him whereas Kean and his chicken fucking mates are just a load of ignominious twats!

Ricky Sbragia, who also has his own lifetime pass to the David Merrington legends' lounge.
