Training Tuesday 4/1

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Training Tuesday 4/1

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Tue Jan 04, 2011 1:37 pm

A few missing today. Obviously Silva and also Mario as Mancini said in his press conference but AJ as well who I am sure will be at his mates funeral today.Plenty of good fun on display though as they did some of the handball routines and headed goals only games to get them in a good mood. This followed by the playground tag fun with the best chase being the 2 Toures trying to get Nigel. Nigel decided to try to escape by running at them and sliding along the ground in between them! Not even close but it was funny.

Onto a game and a couple of goals by Milner ( could it be his time) and a tap in for MJ. Although this game was supposed to be fairly non contact there were a few players left limping through accidental clashes and then something from nothing left a couple of players losing it for a second with each other. I was watching the ball so missed whatever started it and it all ended swiftly enough as others came in to make sure nothing really happened. Mancini made sure the 2 were then on the same side and the game went on.2 of the 4 cameramen missed is altogether , shame but no doubt pictures will get out and a mountain will be made of a molehill!

There wasnt long to go anyway at this point but long enough for Carlos to score from a penalty. Then Mancini took most of them away for a little formation work on a different pitch.Nothing from this gave team plans away as there were 2 in each position and it was just a short closing session before they went in.

Arsenal here we come.

Cheers Doug, top report as always. So the papers will be running a big bust up after today, it wouldn't feel right if they didn't before we go into a big game

Good stuff as per, must've been chilly again today, snowing again last night.

It'll be funny to see if it's the same two people having a go at each other. Doesn't bother me too much; doesn't mean they don't want to do well for themselves and therefore for City.

The Toure/Ade 'bust up' has hit Twitter.

So I hear.Obviously 100% confirmation that all is clearly bad in the City camp and there is no way we can win the league and probably not win another match ever. Pity it happened but that kind of things does.

Shortly after Ade scored a really good goal too but it was mainly down to some great work by Yaya.

I am sure Mancini wouldnt be best pleased it happened but equally I doubt he will lose any sleep over it especially with Adebayor almost certain, it would seem, not to be playing for City again.

Right at the end of the training Mancini made a point of talking with Kolo as the others walked in and they followed very slowly behind. No problem.

Wind your neck in and leave the personal insults out of it,if thats your standard then stay on BM with the rest of the kids.

I couldn't care less about the lads goals,we all know he has quality, that has never been in doubt, however,he couldn't give a shite about the shirt and is quite happy taking the piss,it's also very obvious he's a disruptive influence.Unfortunately Leslie was the only one daft enough to buy him when Wenger saw him for what he is.

You talk about getting personal but you have no problem calling a City player a cunt. You get personal with a person who isn't on here to defend himself, makes you not only a cunt but a coward as well.

Tired of seeing you moaners coming over here and running down City players, maybe you'd be happier with the good old days of Darius Vassell and Bernado Corradi.

While you hide behind your keyboard........ you're too funny!!

And just because he wears a City shirt doesn't make him a City player.....

Yes, but you ARE here to defend yourself, not well of course, but at least you are here.

And no, wearing a shirt doesn't make you a City player, otherwise we'd all be City players on matchday. However signing a contract as a player with the club....does.

God you bluemoan rejects get stupider by the year.
