Through ball played long for Ade. Kolo and Ade neck and neck in pursuit..

Kolo: I know this might not be the right time...
Ade: ugh?
Kolo: I just wanted to say BYE!

THere's a cracking photo there, with about 8 players in the thick of it, and Jo, about 20 yards off looking really confused.

On topic, I'm just surprised Ade can be arsed to motivate himself for a fight.

The journos are really grasping at straws trying to upset us before the big game, eh? Things like these happen, nothing special there.

Am i the only one that loves this shit? I don't find it in the least bit embarrassing. Passion and the 'us against them' mentality is what we need.

bring it on...fight at every cunting fuck practice session lads. As long as you keep on winning and no one gets injured then i am not bovvered.

A few missing today. Obviously Silva and also Mario as Mancini said in his press conference but AJ as well who I am sure will be at his mates funeral today.Plenty of good fun on display though as they did some of the handball routines and headed goals only games to get them in a good mood. This followed by the playground tag fun with the best chase being the 2 Toures trying to get Nigel. Nigel decided to try to escape by running at them and sliding along the ground in between them! Not even close but it was funny.

Onto a game and a couple of goals by Milner ( could it be his time) and a tap in for MJ. Although this game was supposed to be fairly non contact there were a few players left limping through accidental clashes and then something from nothing left a couple of players losing it for a second with each other. I was watching the ball so missed whatever started it and it all ended swiftly enough as others came in to make sure nothing really happened. Mancini made sure the 2 were then on the same side and the game went on.2 of the 4 cameramen missed is altogether , shame but no doubt pictures will get out and a mountain will be made of a molehill!

There wasnt long to go anyway at this point but long enough for Carlos to score from a penalty. Then Mancini took most of them away for a little formation work on a different pitch.Nothing from this gave team plans away as there were 2 in each position and it was just a short closing session before they went in.

Arsenal here we come.

Quoted is Douglas's Training Report for today.

It was nothing incident blown out of proportion, not even worth discussing frankly.

No your not.. i'm into it too.. in fact i think it would quite funny if the team emerged one Saturday with nearly all of them with black eyes, bruises, swollen faces and bandages as they line up to shake hands with the oppo.. or better still emerging after half time!

What are the chances of Adebayor leaving Man City? A loan move to us has been on the cards or is it just media talk? I read on Sky Liverpool are certain to take him on loan but I consider the British media to be crap and non reliant and surely City won't aid another 1st division team with such a good player?

I doubt very much that we would loan him to Liverpool or any other English club fighting for a Champions League place. A loan deal abroad would probably keep everybody happy.

Thanks Kev. 6 months here may do him wonders and you may have his old self after the loan and I think it's the most sensible option for City aswell.

It's hard to know what the healthy balance is re training ground scuffles.

I mean you don't want them all mincing about saying 'no sir, after you, I insist' when it comes to tackling, but you don't need people trying to hurt each other. Too much. Depending on who it is....

The only frame of reference I have for it, is Doug's inside info, and training with my own team mates of my Sunday league team. We have people that don't particularly like each other, and occasionally have come to blows. One (a city fan) lad started on me during a game, against MU supporters club. You may have seen it in the press.

Surely we have no more scuffles than any one else on average, yet it's ours that seem worth publishing. Is this just cos we're more newsworthy currently? Or are we just not as good at snuffing out the newshounds? Can anyone remember any other stories from other clubs about this sort of crap?

Tbh i wouldn't be shocked if he really took to spain and you decided to keep him after the 6months loan.

One thing is for sure city will not allow him to go Liverpool, Spain certainly is a more realistic outcome for ade.

No way we will loan Ade to Liverpool. He'd no doubt be magnificent.

Just googled a list of brawling footballers, and in teh top ten of one list was amused to see Joey Barton and Craig Bellamy (albeit for his Riise clubbing).

I don't remember where I read it, but there was an article on this very subject. It basically said that we are the only team who train in public so to speak, which is why the press pick up on every incident. It wasn't a particularly pro City article either, it said that because City built something (can't remember what) without permission from the council, they in turn wouldn't let City fence off the training pitches. Can anyone else cast any light on it?

Just shows the influence the press has doesn't it? Even if you are told it happens everywhere else every week/month you won't believe it unless you see pictures of it. And because the press can't get cameras near other training grounds that aint going to happen.
