Van Persie is offside in the first chance then when Walcott hits the post he says "he should have scored that"! Fuck sake man, the linesmans flagging offside and the ref's blew the whistle. How can he score that? Another clueless pundit.

Hoddle pissed me off after the game, with a comment along the lines of us not playing well at the moment and not getting results.

ERMMMMM HELLLOOOO GLENNNNNN? 3 out of 3 wins over Xmas.

Dixon is the best pundit out there. Though pretty much all punditry is just repetitive guff now imo.

For the most part Dixon is a decent pundit, but every now and again I feel he shows that he's not much better than the others.

He's not sticking up for City when he's saying Van Persie or Walcott should be scoring when they're being flagged offside. He's just showing that he's only seeing what the BBC wants him to see. Once I think I've heard him actually sticking up for City when we were getting torn into.

Did he play for United? He was proper Bitter tonight, and Dave made sure he couldn't spiel his bile.

He did say that parking the bus at Arsenal isn't a bad thing, it's a game plan. And he said we did it well. He also said Sagna deserved a red, but not Zabba. And he's been watching 7 game simultaneously tonight, so he probably wasn't aware of the offsides.

One chance wasn't offside.

Being a pundit is his job, he's just stating his opinion. He's hardly going to rip off his shirt and rub the City tattoo on his chest in Gabby Logan's face when she says we've spent a bob or two

Some people here get so uptight about the media it's unreal.

You're right. Van Persie didn't get flagged offside but he should have been. Generally I don't get uptight about the media but maybe tonight I'm disappointed in our setup and going on the defensive straight away. Pretty much like City did tonight I suppose.

not much. they analysed it for about a minute and a half. Dixon said that City did it well. They had a sound game plan (not to concede at the Emirates), and followed it through. Sagna should've been sent off, but not Zabba. Hart's save was world class.

Dixon doesnt get paid to stick up for City, just thought i'd clear that up as a few of us seem to think if he doesnt do so, he's not doing his job properly.
