bringing bags into COMS?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

bringing bags into COMS?

Postby mr_nool » Thu Jan 13, 2011 4:55 pm

Anyone know what the policy is?
I just booked trip and tickets for the WBA game. However, I'm checking out from my hotel on Saturday morning and am taking a train from Piccadilly about an hour after the match. Would I be allowed to bring a small bag / bag pack with a change of clothes, a book and some toiletry into the stadium? Or would it be better to ask the people at the Townley if I could leave it behind the bar / rent a luggage locker at the train station?

Leave it in 68's cab if he is going or leave it at The Townley.

If not take it in,i think they have a quick look in but it isnt customs or anything.

You'll be OK - guy along from us appeared at a recent midweek match with a small suitcase!

Like the earlier comment - a quick look to check inside and you'll be fine.

Enjoy the game!

My brother takes a ruck-sack in for night games.

Half the time it gets searched by the steward on the turnstile, but apart from that he's never had a problem taking it in

If a rag can sneak in a flare then I don't think you need to worry too much about the efficiency of the admissions process.
