Kieren Westwood

Got lot of really positive reviews when he was in Academy but for some reason Kasper was always prefered. Now let's be honest here, we probably made mistake releasing him and he would be really good back up if/when Shay leaves.

Opinions?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Yeah, well, I wouldn't trust any of those three to hold the glass when I'm pouring milk on it.

Also, most importantly, Kieren Westwood would count as both domestic grown and coming from Club Academy. Perfect situation for second choice keeper as it would free one more spot for some fancy foreign striker or something like that. Also, local lad and you'd think he'd be Blue as well so I think he'd jump at the chance to come back as second choice keeper.

Sounds like a jockey or a racehorse trainer to me.

Mates down here in Coventry say he is their best player. Not saying much, I guess, but he is hugely popular.

Seen him play for Ireland once or twice, hes got a great goalkick apart from that cant remember much, he has been highly rated wherever hes been and was linked with Villa i think recently, alot of our youth keepers have done well for themseleves obv kasper but wayne hennessy(wolves) and brian murphy(irish league player of the year last year, with ipswich now but injured i think)
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What, if anything, have you seen of David Gonzalez, or Gunnar Nielsen come to that, to say you wouldn't trust any of them to hold your glass when you're pouring milk?

Well, the fact that the club moved heaven and earth to bring in Fulop at the time, clearly indicates they had no trust in Nielsen's abilities. And given that Taylor (who is well dodgy) is in the 25 squad ahead of Gonzalez, should be plenty reason to come to above conclusion.

If he's half as good at football as he is at golf, we're onto a winner.
