How very dare you suggest otherwise

Why Vince the Prince isn't even the vice captain? I suppose it makes TOO much sense.

To play devil's avocado, Niall, he doesn't need to be captain. He is a flawless example to all at the club already. I think he can handle the pressure, but why change anything when you don't need to?
He is the best player we have got.
Mikhail Chigorin wrote:Forgive me for flagging this up but, according to the Blue Moon website, a fair number of posters have been eulogising about Chris Samba and the (allegedly) abundance of qualities that he exhibits; so much so that they reckon we should go all out to get him to shore up our (shaky ??) defence. Given all the accolades he's been receiving from the Blue Moon gang, I reckon they consider him to be one of the best in the Premiership.
I've never had much interest in Samba, or much knowledge of his capabilities so, on that basis, I particularly watched his "performance" on Match of the Day last night and was horrified. Apart from being a gangling, lumbering carthorse, completely lacking in pace and mobility, his ball control was non-existent and his positional sense was abject. As for his (theoretical) ability to get his head onto every cross which came into the box, he was nowhere to be seen for most of the time and just seemed to disappear in tricky situations.
I know that Match of the Day can often (always ??) give a false impression of a player's capabilities, be they good or bad, but if Samba is held in some esteem by the footballing world in general, VK must be stratospheric in his abilities.
All in all, we've got one of the best who is only going to get even better as time goes by. Wouldn't swap him for anyone.
