Still a baffling move, both Liverpool and Spurs need a striker, so it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility he is heading to one of those clubs.

However, surely looking to bring in a target (which we could be looking to bring in during the summer) would be of more use contributing now, than a player we already have not being selected by Bobby for whatever reason.

Can't see him going to Spurs, or Harry wanting him; he left there because he wouldn't play him.
Liverpool would benefit from having a non ponce goalscorer but I wonder where they'd get the money?
He'll score goals wherever he goes. Just that he'll fuck up most of the approach play that would have led to someone else scoring too.

Im gobsmacked at the deal. 24 Million for a guy who has never reguarly scored in a top 6 team. In Europe or for his country.
