I think this should relieve some of the pressure that has been built up around us and let us get on with playing football and finish 3rd maybe 2nd. Anyone who says this is under achieving is a tool. We all started the season looking to finish in the top 4 and thats what we will do. We all know it takes time and CL qualification is a big step.
Completely opposite opinion to the other thread.

Maybe now we have slipped all the way down to 3rd the media will concentrate on somebody else and some of the pressure will be lifted off us.

As Mancini knows, you can only look ahead to the next game and no farther, but I think everyone on the team knows that the CL is all that matters. I am not trying to lessen the value of what a League Title would mean, but given that we've won nothing for so long; a UEFA or FA Cup would change the club's culture overnight. Nothing changes a club more than winning a few cups. So look out Forrest and Aris!!

In terms of City they found themselves equal on pts at the top, fair enough but with two games in hand it was still the rags to lose not City's to win. If we continue to aim to win each game, which we will do, then we will see where that lands us. At present after losing at Villa the landscape hasn't changed that much, the rags would still have to fucl up as they would have had to before for the whole thing to get seriously close. City's aim doesn't change, win every game. If we are not able to do that we will end up about where we are depending on others, if we somehow did win all games we would still be seriously challenging the very top, but again depending on how the others do.
I'm in agreement with what Vinnie has said on the OS, basically it is all there to play for. We fucl up and we lose ground, if the others fucl up they will lose ground, City's aim is still the same win the games and see.

Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallyyyyyy??? If we win all 38 games we would be seriously challenging? It wouldnt really matter how the others did cause we'd have beaten them all twice!
