How has he done in Cardiff? I've only seen two games and he was very ordinary in both of them.

I don't think he would have made much difference yesterday, he was lethal for us on the break but don't remember much of him when we've needed to break teams down.

we're missing pace. plain and simple. he's a burner. and we need some of that to keep teams honest.

plus there were a few times last season where he scored a goal from nothing iirc. He can do that as well.

We don't have anyone in the squad who can just burst past a player with the ball at his feet on a regular basis like Bellamy could. We badly miss him.

And whats between his ears. is he tearing up the Championship this year? If he is, I must have missed it. Bellamy is poison in a dressing room, thats why he's had umpteen fall-outs and transfers to match - am I the only one who notices its apparently never his fault, just like his latest assault charge.

Oh give over. He was a bloody fantastic player for us. Far better than any winger we currently possess. Teams hated playing against him. He can be the biggest twat on the planet for all I care but considering he consistently produced outstanding performances his personality does not matter one jot.

He's scored his usual 1 in 3 average and his team are second in the leauge. What do you expect him to do?

We will agree to disagree hugely on this. Are the umpteen managers that have shipped Bellamy out all wrong then? I'd say not. There's a reason Bellamy moves around all the time, aside from all the injuries - think about it and the penny might drop. The fact that you quote about not caring if he's "the biggest twat on the planet" accurately captures the problem here. You might not care, but his teammates and management might just not take to it that much.

Bellamy was a top pro at City, irrespective of what he's done at Liverpool or in nightclubs. I wish people would show him the respect he deserves as a City player. NOBODY in City's team had a problem with Bellamy & he was fucking brilliant. We miss him & everyone knows it but some trawl that shite out to try & cover up a fucking huge, obvious, stupid mistake.

Well I certainly didn't see signs of the players hating Bellamy. He was world class for us and we miss his ability.

He did a job for us once but his knees are now fucked. That means he can no longer do a job for us on a regular enough basis to be worth the baggage that comes with him. Get over it. Move on.

Not seen any evidence of him being anything other than 4 yards quicker than Jo & twice as talented myself.

He's also walloped in a couple of 30 yard free kicks. We have no option but to move on now, however a veteran striker & matchwinner who can only play 1 game per week, therefore is happy to miss 2 games out of 3, would be the dream signing we could make right now to top off our squad, if one such player was available. Some of us have discussed that on here.

What a pity we chucked one away.

You haven't addressed the issue that 2 free kicks a season isn't worth the baggage? I'm sure he is a better 25th squad player than Shaleum Logan but that doesn't mean he is worth the disruption he causes.
