2pm start today and the players leaving later by coach for Nottingham.Players on show today were defenders MR,KT,PZ,VK,JL,JB and AK,midfield NDJ,PV,MJ,DS,GB,GA,JM,YT and attackers ED,Jo and JG so the notable missing ones were CT,SWP ( MB and AJ being the known injuries. The word re AJ I was told is they are still waiting for the scan results.

As usual on the day they travel to a game it was fairly gentle stuff in warming up followed by handball games, in the air passing games and then a little football. More warm up drills before they went to play football on one of the undersoil pitches. There were still signs of frost around where the sun hadn't got to so no doubt decided to use the most suitable surface.

Nothing special in the game they had but obviously interesting to see Guidetti, MJ and Assulin involved and probably likely to be involved in the squad if not the game on Sunday.JG was getting stuck in as usual and di hit the deck quite hard at one point. Dzeko finished well quite a few times and one was a penalty. Kolarov scored at least one but others are still orbiting! AK took Barry out once and I was worried because I thought it was MJ and he might not get up ever again. Barry was fine.AK also broke well down the righ late on and both Zaba and Boateng came over. All I saw was a flurry of arms and legs as the collision happened and then everyone got up giving each other lowfives. Not a problem.

Time was called but a bunch stayed for some finishing practice.Milner as usual but also Dzeko,Micah,Jo,Patrick.

The word on Tevez is that he is fine and just working inside today. Nothing re SWP but he did miss Friday as well and he looked battered and a little injured on Thursday so maybe injured.

Feckin' hell Doug, I thought your report was gonna break into Morse Code!

Cheers mate, do you reckon Micah will get his first run-out since his little story came out?

I did classify them as defence ,attack etc to make it easier for the more challenged amongst us:)

Hard to know who he will pick in defence but I hope Micah plays. How does Micah,Boateng,Lescott,Kolarov sound?

If you have to use initials it's no good putting 'Jo'.

Has to be JdeAS
