Sorry but his form is bad lately......that goal should never have beaten him but more worrying was his positional sense from free kicks.....he was dead at sea.

He needs to buck up.....and fast.

Is this why Mancini won't let him go; Joe stuck up his own arse?

he seemed to be more interested in fouling the county player who was in the 6 yard box.

Still the best we have and England have, give him a break ffs. He is still young and has plenty to learn. Too much victimising every itme we have an iffy result. The defence was more at fault for their goal.

Suffering from a dip in confidence i reckon, hes made some really poor decisions in the last few weeks and has cost us.Hopefully he will find his form again soon.

I would not be opposed to Shay getting a chance but it would be a very big decision for Mancini to make so far into the season.

He is only 23 years old. He is going to make mistakes.

I thought it was a great finish today more so than anything else.

That said, he's going through a bit of a bad patch lately, but its his first bad patch and how keepers bounce back is what makes them world greats.

I'm a Given fan and don't really see what he did wrong, but replacing the keepers will do neither us or Joe any favours.

I think the goal was more down to the failure of our shit zonal marking than anything else

I wouldnt say fouling him but he was a little too involved with him than watching the ball and holding the best position. Whether he would have saved it I don't know.

Oh come on fellas, Vieira should not have let the player run freely and his header looped perfectly. Given the speed at which it happened any goalie would have struggled with it. It looped perfectly. Give Notts County some credit.

I thought the trickery he did in the first half, halfway between the penalty area and halfway line was fucking stupid, asking for trouble.

Whooooooooooooaaaaaaaa.......sloooooooooow down a bit.

It is only last season that we let young Joe go on loan because he was nowhere near ready to face a season in the Prem.
This season, we were well aware of the risks. The deal was that by giving him the job, he would eventually learn and be our keeper for many years and eventually become a legend.

The risk was that he would screw up occasionally. That he would make mistakes and learn from them. That his form would sometimes dip but her would come through it a stronger player.

That's whats happening....He's learning.
In goalkeeping terms, he's still a baby.

Twas. They lined up in text book zonal fashion with two blockers who were two busy watching the ball to realise a player was running between them. Fucking shabolic. Hart will barely of seen it.

Was it Vieira? I was blaming Yaya, as it was him in that position last time. Perhaps I should adjust their marks in the other thread.
