Is this guy the new Berti Glauber? He's an attacking player, try him out wide given AJ is gonna be out for a while now. Replay against Notts County coming up. If thats not the perfect opportunity for a foreign young player to dip his feet in the water then i don't know what is.

Does Kolarov ever play a more advanced role in training? That could be an option with Zab at LB for some emergency width.

He played his first 20 minutes last Wednesday after injury and they will look for a few more EDS appearances before he is considered for the big time. But he is in full training and it could be a couple of weeks I would guess before he might be considered ready.

As for Kolarov , no he doesnt play an advanced role in training but don't forget they don't play anything like "real" matches in training. It's all 5 or 7 a side type games on small pitches and in that of course he gets forward and as would imagine shoots a lot.

We're more likely to play zab and kolarov with both defending - notts county could be dangerous on the break, so no point being too adventurous.

Are we practising penalties, Douglas?
