David Ball Left The Club

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere.
Apparently left to Peterborough last night. Local lad and was once considered as decent talent. Part of the Youth Cup winning side as well.

Good luck!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

He was 21 and it didn't look like he'd break into full side but yeah, it's always good to see one of our lads get decent chance in professional football.

Our strike rate with these young lads is really phenomenal. I wonder if we have produced most professional footballers out of any Academies in Britain in past five years. I would say it has to be close.

I rate him highly. I'm sure he'll carve out a great career for himself.

I don't know if anyone would be interested, but it would be cool for someone to do a 'where are they now?' of the fa youth cup winning side.

I'll give it a go

1 Greg Hartley - No idea. Saw him once for reserves and he looked nothing like (future) professional goalkeeper.
2 Dedryck Boyata - Still with the Club. Already made his first team debut and seems to have great future ahead of him
3 Ben Mee - Still with the Club. On loan in Leicester. Doesn't look quite as good as some expected. One Cap for England U21's
4 Kieran Trippier - Still with the Club. On loan in Barnsley. Looks promising but that's all at this stage. One cap for England U21's.
5 Ryan McGivern - Still with the Club. Hasn't made his first team debut but was recalled from his loan spell in Walsall where he was quite impressive. Northern Ireland full team regular.
6 Andrew Tutte - Still with the Club. Has had few loan spells but hasn't really impressed. Looks bit bleak for him.
7 Vladimir Weiss - Still with the Club. Loan spells in Premierleague and SPL where he has been quite impressive. At very least will be solid Premierleague player for some Club. Very much still has chance to make it with City. Full Slovakia international and already been to World Cup
8 Scott Kay - Still with the club. fringe reserve team player. Likely to be realeased.
9 David Ball - Sold to Peterborough United january 2011
10 Robbie Mak - Left the Club summer 2010. Seemed like a talented lad. Now playing for FC Nurnberg.
11 Donal McDermott - Still with the Club. Has had few loan spells but at this stage doesn't look like making it in Premierleague level.

subs
Filip Mentel - Moved to Dundee United summer 2010
Abdi Ibrahim - Still with the Club. Already made his full City debut at the age of 18. On loan in Scunthorpe to get some experience. Still raw. Norway U21 regular
Angelos Tsiaklis - Released by City summer 2009. Now with Wrexham.
Alex Nimley-Chuimeni - Still with the Club. Already made his first team debut at the age of 18. Seems to score goals in every level. Has great future ahead of him.
James Poole - Still with the Club. Has had couple of loan spells in lower leagues with little success.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
